After reading his Juice Fasting book and embarking on a series of fasts- some long(14 days) some short (5-7 days), I began the journey to better health and energy. Before these fasts, I'd suffered 3+ years from debilitating bouts of eczema that showed up in the most unsettling places (under arms, lips, eyelids, inner elbows) and had seen two different specialists for this problem with disappointing results. After reading "Are you confused?" and following the life affirming diet, taking the minerals, vitamins and food supplements outlined in the book the eczema cleared up dramatically with no outbreaks in 7 months. I also suffered from allergies, those cleared up too! I have read many other health books, but I have not had the lasting life changing results that I've found in Dr. Airola's books. His books are gifts to humanity!

Paavo Airola is an excellent source on food and nutrition. I'm very impressed with his credibility because he has traveled the world to study how the healthiest cultures eat. He makes EXCELLENT points on the most contraversal nutrition issues. He also has an excellent cookbook titled The Airola Diet and Cookbook. I am a vegatarian and have read several vegatarian books...he's my favorite! Highly recommended - you'll learn a lot!

I'm a dual-degreed engineer and not one for "airy fairy" health - but this one stuck with me and I have re-read it many times over the years and recommended it to others. Check it out.
