Completely re-evaluate your life by reading this book, April 22, 2011
This review is from: Are You Living or Surviving?: An exclusive guide for a Livolution (aka Living Evolution) (Paperback)
There is no scholar on Earth, who will answer the question "What people are living for?". Therefore, the least an individual can do is to live his or her life in total happiness and feel fully satisfied as best as they are able too. There are so many things that can bring up pleasure that should not be missed by ordinary routine humans experience every day. Moreover, sometimes their reevaluation is needed for better understanding the significance of certain components of our lives. That is the thing Mark Massing offers in his book Are You Living or Surviving?, which quickly has become the de-facto guide for those people who struggle to live a life with a sense of its enjoyment.
To motivate his readers in a purpose of making some changes and start a new life, Mark Massing uses the method of contrasts. He compares the life with a feeling of self-fulfillment to the state of existence, at the same time in the circle of everyday life, he states, an individual seems to lose his identity. Hence, the author proposes re-estimation of the most valuable things of life, which might be very connected to each other.
As one of the dominant components of people's he discusses employment and success, which are closely related to your financial state and family time. He emphasizes a big time loss people make while working hard to be successful or to earn as much money as possible. The problem is if it makes a person and his family happy ... should such things remain the same? What should one do to keep himself and the dearest people in his life happy? That is only one example the author provides to assure his readers that such things are to be reconsidered in order to keep people living their lifetime joyfully, but not surviving from day to day.
It is never too late to make some steps in changing your life: a little time-management skills, reevaluation of life importance, getting more involved in the life of your family, loving yourself again and so many others. These issues are the serious factors, which might improve and even induce individuals to live better and happier, than before.
The interesting thing about this book is that it has been written on a basis of personal experience of the author. He offers the examples, which are taken from his own life issues; that is why they also serve as evidence that such a life changing plan he proposes really does work. Hence, everybody wishes to live happily, but to achieve that one should take some actions, the number of which is offered by Mark Massing in his "Are You Living or Surviving?"
