I adore Barbara De Angelis. She's a talented, caring, lovely woman. And I recommend this book for EVERYONE! My husband and I know what our top four relationship values are (yes, they are very different!) and every day we get up and make sure to focus on each other's needs. I need security, freedom, variety and love. He needs passion, growth, love and variety. I focus on giving him passion, he focuses on making me feel secure. The others come naturally for each of us based on who we are. This focus makes our marriage work (plus total honesty!). I learned this from Barbara's book and it was pivotal for our happiness.
Barbara is a font of knowledge. She's a national treasure. She's written 14 books, 4 of which are best sellers. Read them all.

This book helps in ways I can't begin to describe. De Angelis is direct, sometimes harshly so, bu says things you need to hear. Do this book. Do the exercises, honestly, and you will start to see why your love choices have been what they have been.

If she says go on a relationship-fast (as in fasting, as in a break), do it. I'm just finishing mine and thought it was really hard to do, it showed me a lot about myself.

In short, thats what this book does that is so valuable; it shows your relationship self to yourself.

For only $9, this book is invaluable.
