This isn't the Sweet but their songs are still enjoyable, November 10, 2004

Let me start off and say 24 tracks, what a deal. The other 2 SWEET tributes I have are from Sweden and cost a lot more with only half the tracks. Most of the songs are done well here with different interpretations of Sweet songs, most of them work. If you are expecting knockoffs, buy a greatest hits record. This is a tribute record and needs to be considered as such. I have never heard of any of these bands so no prior baggage or bias. I like this and I think it works. I have been a long time fan of Sweet and just love to hear their songs played again since 2 out of 4 are already dead. No chance of a reunion. It is very difficult to listen to the roll call of Ballroom Blitz without hearing the names Steve, Andy, & Mick. Still worthy of a listen for a SWEET fan.
