Randomly had this pop up in my reccos. For a band that is nearly impossible to find any real information on due to a name that is difficult to search, I loved it! It is definitely worth the download!! The song was apparently covered on Glee, but don't hold that against it.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of it! A great graduation song or cruiz'n in your car kind of song. Puts me in a good mood righ away!

I LOVED The Format (Nate Ruess' old band) and was totally surprised when I heard this song on the radio. It was a Format song, only better, and it was actually a top 40 hit! I was very disappointed when The Format, the sound track to my senior year of college, broke up. It's always weird for me when a favorite band of mine finds popular success, and I couldn't be happier for Nate. This song is beautifully written and catchy as all get out.

I've heard thousands and thousands of songs in my life. This is one of the best. Once the chorus kicks in, you're hopelessly hooked.

Great singing collaboration. The song has a depth to it that the music brings to life. The group "fun" has great tracks. My new fav band.

One of the best songs on the album. Sticking true to their previous work, even in line with The Format. Love this song!

If the Anthem for the 1970's was " I want you to want me" by Cheap Trick ( and it should have been) and
If the Anthem for the 1980's was "Forever Young" by ALPHAVILLE and it was and
If the Anthem for the 1990's was "Smells like teen spirit" by NIRVANA and it was...then
"We Are Young" by FUN is the anthem for this generation it has all the components needed for an anthem to represent a group of people at a specific time and it is really catchy anyone can sing-a-long with it and it is a "fun" song...so there it's your new anthem enjoy it, argue over it and discuss the pro's and con's, and then listen to it and you will hear!

The main reason I got this song in the first place (other than listening to it on the radio, which you can't really prevent) was because of the main singer's duet song "Just Give Me A Reason" with pop sass P!nk on her latest 2012 Album "The Truth About Love" (which is one I highly recommend! It's a great CD, great listen!). This song is awesome, with strong lyrical talent! It shows that people can sing awesome music without ladening them with swearing and unnecessary stuff that takes away from the song! Nate Ruess is such a strong singer, and he fits this song perfectly!
