5.0 out of 5 stars A Piece of Area 51 History, February 16, 2007
By Steve Conslaw (INDIANAPOLIS, IN United States) - See all my reviews
I got my copy directly from Glenn Campbell when he self-published this book in 1995. I wouldn't part with it for the world. (Well, not the world . . .) If you're interested in the lore of Area 51, a/k/a Groom Lake, a/k/a Dreamland, a/k/a "the Ranch", try to scare up a copy of this book. It's almost a piece of history in the modern legend of Area 51. Glenn Campbell was the leader in the movement to shed light on the goings-on at Groom Lake. I call him the Guru of Groom Lake. This book was his introduction for would-be "interceptors". We haven't heard too much about the base since they shut down Freedom Ridge, but it's still there. Something will come up eventually. Good luck on your next adventure, Glenn.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining and nastalgic, April 15, 2009
Glenn Campbell is somewhat embarrassed by the content of this book. I can certainly see why. His early to mid 90s antics remind me of my own late 70s to early 80s antics. A little juvenile behavior, regret and embarrassment must befall every generation. Nothing new under the sun there. What Glenn has learned since he originally wrote this book could fill another book. I certainly think he should write another book. When he does, assuming I'm still around at the time, I'll be first in line to buy a copy.
