This magazine is one of the finest men's high end fashion magazines. Along with Vogue L'Uomo, etc. but in English.Published seasonally.

I've just finished reading my first issue of Homme Plus, and it's not what I expected. It appears that the editors of this magazine don't see fashion so much as an art, but as one representation of a transcendent state of existence; so, through studying fashion and the fashionable, we can try to comprehend the incomprehensible forces that created it. In the magazine, this takes the form of articles that you'll get to the end of without understanding what they're about, and photos that have feeling but no content. It reminded me of my first introduction to French poetry -- a painstakingly befuddling construction, written in a language that I thought I understood. Three stars because I have no disrespect for people who do understand fashion the same way that the folks at Homme Plus do, and because I think this magazine is very well crafted for that audience. However, it didn't have enough content to suit someone like me, who wants to understand the simple visual art of fashion and how the creative people devoted to it are pushing its evolution.
