More About the Author

Sergio Zagier divides his time between the publishing work at office and traveling to get raw material for his photographs and journal articles in international media. Director of Zagier & Urruty Publications, he is also an amateur historian and rare book collector about Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego & Antarctica. At present he is a consultant for the Ministry of Tourism of Argentina. He is a member of The Explorers Club and the Ernie Club.

The new edition of this wonderful Atlas covers in more than 200 pages every corner of the southern part of South America. It includes charts, street lists of the most important cities, charts of National Parks, etc. It is written in Spanish but obviously it is not a problem because it consists in maps and indexes. Published by a very well known local company. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent road guide for Chile and Argentina (maybe the best), very accurate distances. Cities and some geographic aspects like lakes, parks and mountains. I can't say the same for the Brazilian part of it, many roads are not available. Don't expect to find hotels, restaurants and attractions from this atlas since It's specialized in maps.

Very complete set of maps.Maps in this scales are untraceable in Europe.An indispensable book for the travelers in Argentina
