A recommended map to have a full image of half of South America
Some of the more detailed Argentina maps split the country in two, allowing a better scale but not giving a whole idea of distances and the relationship among the different regions. Instead, this map looses detail and scale for the benefit of having all the country together. Argentina is huge, and the map extends from Cape Horn to half of Bolivia! Also the connections...

Useless. Don't buy.
I bought this for a three week trip to Patagonia. I found it completely useless and threw it out. It doesn't show or label highways, railways, omits major towns, etc. Buy a better map or use the one in the many good guide books.

Some of the more detailed Argentina maps split the country in two, allowing a better scale but not giving a whole idea of distances and the relationship among the different regions. Instead, this map looses detail and scale for the benefit of having all the country together. Argentina is huge, and the map extends from Cape Horn to half of Bolivia! Also the connections with neighbouring countries are well displayed, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. This map is specially recommended for travelers aboard cruises navigating the east and west coast of the south of South America and who do not need great detail in roads, etc. For driving there are different maps well organized for highway information but usually do not give a complete image of the country. Thus, the former comment by another reader is mistaken because he wanted to use the wrong map.
