Bassinet comes with a machine washable, 1" hypoallergenic foam mattress pad covered in soft cotton and two white fitted sheets. Other accessories for the Bam bassinet include a cotton bassinet bumper pad in solid white, a white waterproof mattress cover, a canopy support and a canopy drape—all accessories are sold separately. Easy to assemble. Made from solid birch and zero emission birch plywood. Conforms to and exceeds all regulations set forth by ASTM, CPSC, and Health Canada. All textiles are made of unbleached, organic cotton.

It's a decent bassinet, but at $359, the wood is very cheap and light, and they have a warning sticker that needs to be removed. (It warns you to assemble it correctly). It's huge and of the cheapest possible material, so it cannot be removed without a tool. Of course, we ended up scratching the finish while trying to remove it.

So the manufacturers saved something like 6 cents by choosing a warning sticker that take a half hour for the end user to remove. Just pay for a decent sticker that actually comes off.

Anyway, in summary: overpriced. Annoying sticker.

Hi John;
I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the warning label, but the ASTM standards require the use of permanent warning labels on all cribs. The ASTM F-1169 (crib standards) states that;

"5.18.1 Paper warning labels shall be permanent when tested in accordance with 7.14.1."

Again, we would like to extend our apologies to you, but these stickers are an industry standard.

We had an unexpected c-section and this bassinet was perfect to help me take care of the baby during my recovery. It's at a great height so I don't have to bend over to lift the baby, and I can wheel it around the house with me so I can set the baby down wherever I happen to be if I get too tired. It's also really easy to see into to check on the baby.
