This is a good textbook, and even though it is older, my professor in Reasoned Discourse had the opportunity to talk with the author. The author told him that from the time the book was written until now, there have been negligible changes in the statistics, and this awesome author is interested in keeping books cheaper for students, and so will not publish a new version anytime soon.
