There are no evil space aliens, no sexuality, no angst heroes, death or destruction - not even a single bad person! It is nice to be able to watch something that focuses on the beautiful side of life - the "Wonder" of our every day world (or in this case, a terraformed Mars). This last installment of the Aria series (Alas!) ties up the series very nicely; though if they could keep up the quility, I would have continued to buy. Akari in the traghetto episode is shown to have grown considerably, astounding other Undines with her skill; this same episode shows just how difficult it is to become an Undine. This anime almost leaves be breathless - Thank YOU to all the creators and animators who labored on this project.

How do I start? Let's just say that this anime was absolutely refreshing.Nothing bad in it, moved at a leisurely pace, and yet still had an amazing story, heartwarming and touching. Not to mention the animation was beyond breathtaking. It really helped me to appreciate the smaller things in life. I cried so much when the last episode came around. I was so sad to part with this series. But I will surely revisit Aqua and the wonderful world of Aria someday again! I wholeheartedly recommend this anime series as part of anyone's permanent collection! If anything, it will put a smile on your face, endear you to the characters, and make you feel good inside! Thank you to all those who worked so hard on this amazing anime!

This last season of the Aria anime series is as good as (and in several ways even better than) the earlier seasons. It concludes the story of the three aspiring undines (female gondaliers on a terraformed planet) in such a sweet and satisfying way. As usual, the pace of the story is unhurried, and viewers are encouraged to simply relax and enjoy the colorful and artistic animation that gently unfolds. Young girls (7 to 17) and older adults (about 40 and above) are the target audience, as they are most likely to appreciate the soft beauty of the world created by the series, and the endearing relationships that develop between the six main female characters. But anyone of any age or gender who enjoys the slice-of-life anime genre should pick up all three seasons. I think you will be glad you did.
