Product Description

Ariat is celebrated for their high-caliber workboots and the Workhog style shows us why. The waterproof design features a full-grain leather upper and Goodyear welting for superior quality, while the Duratread outsole is self-cleaning and non-tracking. The stability chassis encourages an anatomically correct step for comfort on long days.

Ariat ATS Max technology supports and cushions as you move, promoting good posture and reducing fatigue. At the core of ATS Max technology is the Ariat ATS Max extra wide shank, plus forefoot and heel stabilizers for support and reduction of foot fatigue and injury. EVA mid-foot support reduces metatarsal stress. The ATS Max footbed has a low-friction surface to protect from heat build-up and blistering. Shock-absorbing gel cushion reduces skeletal impact stress on knees, hips, and lower back. Cupped footbed chassis offers torsional stability. Work at your peak in the Ariat Workhog pull-on work boot. It features a full grain leather foot under a fancy stitched 11" full grain leather shaft. Mesh lined. Stability chassis promotes proper gait cycle. Single stitched Goodyear welt. 90 degree heel. Its a great boot holds up well and handles the amount of walking i do all day as a Superintendent. Its waterproof ive tested it. It will hold water too if you get over the top in a good deep mud puddle. Top of the toes color wears off quickly on the leather its easily fixed with a little shoe polish. Boot has great support, all day comfort on both concrete and in the field. Its highly reccomendend by me to everyone on the job site.

First let me say I know everyone has their favorite boot for hunting, winter, working and etc.., but these Ariat Workhog boots are really GREAT! This is my 3rd pair over the last 8-10 years and I have put them through the Josh test, as my wife calls it! I am really rough on pretty much everything I put my hands on and things I wear and these boots have passed each and every time!!!! I could go on all day about these boots, but I will list the big pros and cons-

    Pro's-
Great Fit (remember to order correct width too!)
TRULY waterproof (just to see on my 1st pair years ago, I stood in a creek bottom for about an hour or so--NO water)
Leather and stitching is great quality
    Soles are also excellent quality
The U-Turn feature on the back upper portion of the boot is the BEST invention ever and also continues to work as promised
    Interior lining is excellent quality
Ariats ATS technology in the sole truly does make these comfortable to wear all day and the shank system provides exceptional quality

    Con's

I no people say this, but after 3 pair of these, I honestly have not found ANY yet!! I will keep you updated over the next several years!!

Very comfortable. Great traction, better than my Magnums really. The finish is kinda suede so really they can't be shined but a good horse bristle brush will not only clean them but make most all scuffs disappear. I remember how hard it was for my Dad to get his pull on boots off at the end of the day some thirty years ago. The U-turn makes these pop right off with no effort whatsoever. The extra wide shank in the sole does exactly as Ariat says and makes these boots very stable on ladders and steps.

Now if they came in a quadruple E. They broke into my wide arsed hobbit feet in a couple of weeks and they were pretty comfortable even then just a touch tight on the bridge of the foot and the pinky toes.

Sure your ankles are gonna slide around a bit when you walk in them. That's the kinda boot these are. If you don't like that get some proper lace up combat or work boots and be happier, but I doubt those will be a comfortable as these.

I heard these ran large, so I ordered a half-size smaller than normal. They were still too big. I had to send them back and ended up with a size 10. Every other boot I own is an 11.

The boots are very comfortable. They're easy to put on and off. They are fully waterproof. The ankle support is not great though. Even being down a size, they're too loose around my ankles.

I was hoping these could be everyday work boots, but I climb utility poles and need a boot that supports my legs better than these do. I'm going to keep them because they're stylish and comfortable for just wearing around town, but they will only be worn to work occassionally.

I have always wanted a pair of cowboy boots. I tried on several but none of them really went with my wardrobe. I have to wear suits for my job and I needed a pair of boots that I could wear in the winter. When I found these, I was skeptical given the fact that no other ones I tried really worked for me. These were different. The toe does not narrow down so much that my feet look like little nubs. They are stylish and so far are really waterproof - I stepped in a deep puddle and no moisture inside! I followed the reviews and ordered a half size down. I normally wear a size 11 shoe, but the 10.5 fit perfectly. They are also incredibly comfortable. I have a standing desk at work and stand all day and they did not bother me (I run in minimalist sneakers and the heel rise has not bothered me even when I am standing 8-9 hours a day at my desk). Also, the minimal stitching design at the top of the boot gives them the cowboy feel without going overboard. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the market for a waterproof boot!

This is my second pair of Workhogs. The new pair fit like a glove right out of the box. Just a bit snug, but like any pair of leather boots, they'll stretch out after being worn for a couple of days. My last pair lasted five or six years, and I still wear them occasionally when working outdoors.

I was kinda gun shy spending this much for work boots, my wife bought wolverines last year for $160. they felt great but im an automotive technician and am on my feet all day sometimes 10-18 hours a day on concrete floors, after 3.5 months the soles were worn out. after much research and review reading i chose these boots after a week my feet, knees and back feel great. I'm very pleased with these boots i will post later to talk about how they have lasted but as for now they are very comfortable, a little shorter then my other boots but just a difference in design i was pleasantly pleased to find they have a lining which keep my feet very warm.
