Disclaimer: I did not purchase these boots from Amazon, and I would recommend trying these on prior to purchase unless you don't mind exchanging them, but I feel that way about all shoes.

I have had these boots and worn them just short of five days a week for over a year. The best thing about them is the sole, which feels like a pair of NB sneakers (read: good support, comfortable for all day wear). The construction is excellent, I got these for use riding a motorcycle, so they get a decent amount of wear, and in the past year the only noticeable damage is to the ribs along the vertical seams on the sides of the boots. The seams are all undamaged, just the edge of the leather has frayed some. For me, that is excellent. Normally, my sneakers will have torn seams, noticeable wear-through on the sole, and often the sole will start to become unglued. None of that has been an issue with these boots. Well-built and well-designed, sturdy and comfortable.

I have worn this boot in several situations like just walking around going to normal places and I have also used the boots to work in getting on and off a forklift constant walking and so on and I have no complaints what so ever. One of the most comfortable boot I have ever worn HANDS DOWN! I wouldn't recommend anything else.
