got this for a 5 year old. it fit her very well so I would say the size runs a bit on the small side since I purchased the 7-8 size - the outfit is also a sugg cut. She liked it very much. The little decorations on the dress - little flowers and ribbons - didn't last the second play session. Overall it is a fun dressup outfit.

This dress works for the money. I bought this as a back up for a mermaid costume. This is easy to get on for a child. Sizing is perfect. Just is more of a dress than a costume that we wanted for halloween. Still have the dress for dress up and holds up well.

I was excited about purchasing this because it looked cute in the picture. When I got it, the flower and ribbon came off right away even before my daughter tried it on! It is made of flimsy material and won't be durable enough for more than one wearing.

I brought this dress as halloween costume for my 6 year old daughter. I think its worth value for money paid. My daughter liked this dress. Thanks for very good service too.

This costume is great but it is very thin - so if you intend to go trick or treating in anywhere other than a southern state (Florida, LA, etc)- you will need a t-shirt underneath or a coat over it - as it is more of a tank top on top. We live in the south and so this isn't a problem come Oct. 31 when it is still in the 70's. So be forewarned as you may not notice this from the pictures.

Daughter loves this dress! Not very durable, but most dressup costumes aren't. Fits a bit more snuggly than most of this size.

The Ariel costume came in great time and my daughter's face lit up and shined throughout the day playing in this costume! The hem has started to come off but since she plays with it so much that is to be expected, otherwise the quality is pretty good.

My granddaughter loves Ariel. She has had three costumes (smaller sizes-still enjoys Ariel). There is something magical about Ariel!!

This was a Christmas gift and she loved it! Bought one size larger and was just fine, don't know how long it will last, is very similar to a better made halloween costume. But was worth every penny for the fun she has had wearing it. After two days staright, still holding up just fine, and this is on an active five year old! Shipping and packaging great as usual!

I purchased this dress for my 5 year old for Disneyland. It's surprisingly durable and the picture does not do it justice. Just be sure to hand wash and hang dry. The sleeves are the most fragile part so I won't be surprised if in the future I will need to take needle and thread to it but the fabric is really beautiful and light weight for summer.
