Before you buy this please be aware that this product contains lead. It is only listed on the packaging because the state of Illinois requires it. I would never have purchased this had I know.

We also opened this tiara as soon as my daughter received it for her 5th Birthday which was Little Mermaid theme. Within the hour I noticed exposed wires and beads on the floor. My attempt to fix it resulted in more falling beads. I ended up snipping some wires and curling them around so as not to poke little heads. It's also a bit big for her. I'm disappointed in a toy that has to be fixed on the first day of use.

My daughter received this Tiara as a Christmas gift (2008) and we immediately opened it for her to wear. Within minutes we noticed beads on the floor and wires exposed where the beads had fallen off. We then attempted to turn in the ends of the exposed wires so she could still wear the Tiara without being poked but the metal wires started breaking into pieces which caused more beads to fall off. (We ended up with a baggie full of beads.) This product is made poorly and doesn't even stay on her head...it stretches! I would NOT recommend this product to anyone!

Wish I read the reviews before I purchased this item for my 3 year old who loves Ariel. This tiara won't stay on anyone's head. It is big and doesn't sit nicely as a tiara or head band. Very disappointed with this purchase. Now that I know it has lead in it, it is going in the trash.

my daughter had lots of fun being a princess. She really liked the crown. It fit, which is difficult to happen. It's good quality.

I had to get this to go with my daughter's mermaid costume. It came, we unwrapped it, she went to put it on. No matter what we did we could not get the thing to stay on. My daughter is 3, so I thought that maybe it was because her head was too small, but it won't fit my head either. Usually I'd keep something like this around for dress up, but there is no point so I'm sending it back.

LOVE IT! I am superdad now. I bought a red wig and a magic wand at the same time, and the company did great sending it
in just 4 or 5 days. My daughter knows how to get anything she wants from daddy. It starts with "I want", and I usually reply, "Okay I'll buy it for you". My life is better because of companies like this...lol
All joking aside, its a fancy tiara and beats her other ones for shinyness, so my daughter is happy and so am I.

IT'S A LITTLE FLIMSY AND NOT VERY DURABLE BUT IT IS GOOD LOOKING. BETTER ONES ARE AVAILABLE, HOWEVER. I WAS PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE.
