I bought these shoes (not from Amazon) about 6 months ago. I love them. I bought two pairs, one in all white and these black & whites. I can't say enough good about these shoes. I wore the white ones for the dancing part of my wedding 3 months ago. They are my absolute favorites to dance in. The meshy upper is fantastic if you dance for hours on end--it keeps your feet from getting overly hot and it's stretchy so the upper doesn't bind the metatarsals.

The soles are nice and slick--great for turns!

The bottom of the shoe is also quite cushiony--way better than any ballroom shoe I've ever used. Normally, a ballroom shoe would have almost no padding on the bottom.

The shoe is very stable for active dance. I sprained both of my ankles several months ago, and I couldn't wear any of my latin or ballroom shoes, but I could still dance in these Aris Allens. These are fantastic shoes. Now that it's cold, I just want a pair in all-black since the wingtips sort of stand out with my darker winter outfits.

These shoes are great for athletic dancers, especially swing dancers, or for salsa/ballroom dancers who need more stability and comfort from a shoe.

The shoes were beautiful, however there was a hole in the white mesh, so I sent them back. I am disappointed that I had to pay $15.00 for shipping them back to the company plus the original $5.00 it cost me to get them shipped to me, so in total I spent $20.00 for a pair of shoes I never got to wear! Unfortunately the company doesn't pay refund shipping costs.

I have never worn such comfortable dancing shoes! these are 5-star for comfort and looks all the way. but I do have to say after 3 times of dance practice, the leather has worn off on one shoe in the top toe area - and no toe taps were ever done! it appears the leather used in this shoe is very very soft so I am disappointed in that. There were also no return documents shipped with the shoes so I have to hunt down how to do that to request a possible exchange.

Well made and attractive but not very comfortable for a dance shoe. They could be a little softer and more flexible.

I bought these last spring, wore them for about 6 hours of dancing on a dixieland cruise. They were the most stable and comfortable dance shoe I have ever worn! Unfortunately, everytime my husband's shoe grazed mine, the very thin black skin was removed from that spot. I have never had this happen with another shoe. I sent them back at my expense, and received another pair, but have worn them very little as I'm afraid they will be ruined again if someone elses shoe touches mine on the crowded dance floor. I did put a coat of shoe wax on the new pair, thinking it might provide some protection. So far, so good.

I have been looking for a pair of these for about 3 years...finally found them on Amazon...need I say more?

This is my second pair of Aris Allen shoes, the first of this style, and I've never been so pleased with a shoe! The cushiony interior feels like the most comfortable slipper, but with support and style.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. They are extremely extremely comfortable. They look amazing. The mesh helps keep your feet cool. It is like a wonderful breeze! Can't wait to dance around some more in these shoes. Definitely excited about my future with these babies.
