I've tried so many energy bars and found ones I'm happy with yet I continue to try the new ones. (See my reviews!) I liked some of the ingredients in this one so bought it. It became another problem of "I should have bought just one before buying an entire case"...

It's dry, a really hard piece hurt my tooth, it doesn't taste good, the texture has too many hard and dry things (the oats haven't melded well and have turned into little hard pieces) and even the chocolate doesn't save it. You don't taste any of the nuts or raisins, hard oats seem to overpower it. I'm picky so I had my husband try it (he's a "give it to Mikey, he'll eat anything" kind of guy) and he couldn't stand it. Even my daughter thought it terrible and she eats many bars I don't like. Sooo..I don't recommend. Yuck.

I gave it a 2-star (instead of a 1!) for a few good ingredients although don't let the "omega-3's" fool you, there isn't that much in there. I've bought standard granola bars at the supermarket that have more fiber and protein than this.

I've purchased these and don't care for them, but to each his own. Everyone is different. I like more sweetness.
