This is a great shirt! It is very soft cotton. The material is thin enough, but not too thin that it is see-through. It is also very flattering, for a girls' sports shirt. I love it! I got the XXL because it runs small. I am a 10/12 and it is just big enough that it doesn't stick to me, but still shows my shape.
