It's not a lazy boy but it'll keep your butt from going to sleep. Would I like more padding yes... but it's the best stadium seat we've found so far. You can see by my reviews that we've tried several. These chairs have weathered a complete football season well. Easy to carry. Strong enough that nothing has started to bend or break.
