Mrs. Bernstein's book represents a milestone in my education,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail: Message for the New Millennium (Paperback)
Ark of the Covenant, Holy Grail takes the reader on an incredible journey through the past and gives a much clearer insight as to how our modern society has evolved. For anyone who has not read esoteric literature, this book will catch you right up to the present day leading to a sort of 'instant' enlightenment. Mrs. Bernstein has introduced me to an entirely new world and I will forever be in gratitude for her most amazing gifts. "As above, so below", it seems that Moses definitely played a role in writing her book, this is most likely why Mrs. Bernstein dedicated the book to Him. I recommend it as essential knowledge for the present and future.

This is the most comprehensive I've seen in a long list of book reading here recently, and even then she didn't even mention some of the very important "parts" of the long history like Rosslyn, Bjornholm Island, etc. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to know what has hit the fan in recent years!!! (And from all this you will know "who" doesn't like the info.) Now you can know exactly why the Inquisitions happened over and over again. Truth can be exciting and not quite so dangerous in this day and age!! Get ready for a real adventure into solidly researched facts!!

" . . . this is an important work of modern synthesis and scholarship that continues and complements the work of Manly P. Hall. Furthermore, Mrs. Bernstein has illuminated the feminine approach to the Ancient Mysteries."ART KUNKIN, Past President of The Philosophical Research Society, Los Angeles

The Heart & Soul of Western Mysticism Revealed.,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail: Message for the New Millennium (Paperback)
Increasingly, seekers of spiritual truth are discovering the Ageless Wisdom . . . a "prisca theology," that predates Moses and Hermes Trismegistus yet is found running through the core of esoteric philosophy all the way up to modern times. However, students of the Wisdom face two major problems: first, the dry, intricate, and complicated nature of most arcane literature, and second, the desire of most esoteric writers to veil much of their meaning except for the most worthy initiates of the Greater Mysteries. With the publication of Henrietta Bernstein's "The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail; Message for the New Millennium," students seeking a serious, non-religious approach to spirituality can jump in head first. Accessible but profound, this book is a mandatory addition to the personal library of every serious student of metaphysics, mysticism and the occult.

A bold new approach to a sacred topic.,

This review is from: The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail: Message for the New Millennium (Paperback)
This painstakingly well-researched book presents a bold new approach to the elucidation of three sacred symbols -- the Emerald Tablet of Hermes, the Ark of the Covenant, and the Holy Grail. These symbols are not only sacred within the mystical side of the Judeo-Christian tradition, but have deep arcane meaning in the secret teachings of Alchemy, Freemasonry, and Rosicrucianism.

This review is from: The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail: Message for the New Millennium (Paperback)
My quest began in 1954 when I researched a paper I was writing for sophomore English. A small book told about Sir Francis Bacon's real mother and heritage. Twenty years later a book JUMPED off the rack at the Rosecrucian library. I bought a $60 book; something I had never done before. It told me more that Bacon had been doing -- repeating the story I had read earlier. In the meantime, I have studied and written material on metaphysics and religion, finding the answers I was supposed to find to explain life in general and my life in particular. However, my ideas were always ridiculed by those who thought they knew better than I. I am in the process of writing my last book; it summarizes what my findings have been, but it is ostensibly about Marie Sinclair, Countess of Caithness, and her teachings in the 1890's. I only found her because I edited the material of Malinda Cramer, founder of the Divine Science Church. The material was in Harmony Magazine between 1888 and 1906. Now, here in Ark of the Covenant & Holy Grail is a nicely put together agreement of what I have studied for 56 years. And she agrees with all I had found to be TRUE. Ms. Bernstein's book is a confirmation of my whole life!

Mysteries of the Mystery Schools,

This review is from: The Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail: Message for the New Millennium (Paperback)
As usual with books like this, it brings up more questions than it answers, but it does a great job of explaining and clarifying events through history, allegory and archeology.
Everything was put into place to raise the consciousness of the people - from sacred architecture in the Ark and the Temples, to secret societies' work with ley lines and earth energy. They did this while trying to preserve what the governments and organized religion don't want us to know. The book traces the Ark from Atlantis through Europe, Asia, England, and into the U.S. The most interesting was Francis Bacon and the formation of America as a New Atlantis, the great experiment of enlightened self-government. By far the funniest section was on the priests entering into the room with the Ark of the Covenant. If you weren't pure, you would be struck dead. So, the other priests would tie a rope around the entering priest's leg, so if he died, they would not have to risk their own lives pulling him out. The secrets of the mystery schools can be summed up in the conclusion by a quote from a shaman, "There is the one and there are many. The mystery of the one is that it has become many. The destiny of the many is that they must return to one."

I totally agree with Art Kunkin (past President of The Philosophical Research Society, Los Angeles). It is a very important work of modern synthesis and scholarship. This book complements and also continues the work of Manly P. Hall. I loved how Mrs. Bernstein illuminated the feminine approach to the Ancient Mysteries. I believe this book is a "must read" for women AND men who are seeking to develop the feminine side of their nature!
