My dark colored goats were showing a rusting in their coats, indicative of low copper. I searched high and low for a good broad spectrum mineral base to give them that was high in more than one source of copper and had the right ratios of calcium to phosphorus. The goats look much better now with deep rich reddish brown coloring. I especially like that iron is not in the ingredients as we live in a high iron area and our hays and water typically tests well in iron. Like the other reviewer I did buy from another vendor due to a better price.

Purchased on sale at a local Tractor Supply for a mere $8.99! This mineral is very well balanced for goats. My herd will eat it plain when needed. I leave it out free-choice...makes a big difference in their over all appearance and health. I also supplement with copper boluses 3 x a year and selenium/e gel once a month...but this is a main stay on our farm!

I've used several brands of loose mineral for my dairy goats. This one has been the best. Chelated minerals make a good mineral a gray color. If it is red...like most other brands I've tried...the minerals are oxides and not absorbable by the goats. At first the ugly gray white mineral turned me off, but it's a good thing. I had some trouble kidding after using an oxidated mineral all winter. It is worth the extra money to get a good chelated mineral like this one. It is too expensive here. Even the local, often overpriced feed store has this at half the price.

This is a great product with lots of chelated minerals. Very good quality, and my animals love it and thrive on it. However, this is a terrible price to pay, especially when you consider the shipping being charged is almost as much as the inflated price for the product itself.

Very effective mineral powder! I noticed positive results especially with my goat's skin and fur. I started adding a little water to the grain and mineral powder mix and stir it up, so the mineral powder actually sticks to the grain. Otherwise my goats push the salty-flavored powder aside and just eat the grain, leaving most of the minerals in the bottom of the feeder. Mixing with a bit of water works like a charm! They happily eat it all!

Goat Mineral 8 pound packages, we have 25 goats and we purchased 2 bags of these and they have seemed to help give our goats what they were lacking, during the winter months they do not get all the minerals they need via hay and feed and this supplement is just what the doctor ordered thanks!

Minerals are great but the bag was ripped inside the box so minerals had spilled all inside. We noticed some spilling out when we initially picked up the box so I'm not sure how much we actually lost.
