5.0 out of 5 stars Great app,but not from Amazon September 11, 2011

This is very good app and you should pick it up now,but not here.I love to stream music and video from my home network to my tablets and tv's.I had tried many very bad ones on the markets who I will not name. This one by far is of the best out.It not only let me stream from my pc but also from tablet to tablet.Which brings me to Amazon and the app store where I got it from. Since there so called update I can no longer reinstall this app. There app store no longer works on my device. DRM issue, compatibillity issue,I don't know and their customer service so far have been no help.It is worth the price from wherever you chose to get. I will have to pay again from the Google market where android is android not from the Amazon app store.

1.0 out of 5 stars Well, looks like I paid $4 for a headache August 15, 2013

Looking for a Media Player that will playback locally stored media from my media server. This app might do that, it might not. I will never know. Every time I open the app on my Kindle, it stalls, takes down my entire network (wired and wireless) and then just closes saying that it needs a network connection to operate and the Kindle Fire is not connected to the internet...... Well, it was till opened the app. The first time it happened I thought my network had just disconnected and caused the problem. Then the 2nd time I opened it, my wife came down and said, "Did you unhook the internet?" I said "No". Then I noticed my PC with the wired connection was kicked off the network. The app closed and everything came up a few seconds later. 3rd time, just to test it out, same thing. I think this is like that big machine they had in the back of the van in Ocean's Eleven and when they turn it on it knocks all the electricity and networking out, except without knocking out the electricity, although with these horrible piece of software I wouldn't be surprised.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good December 2, 2013

Does not work. It will not work. It will not play my plug-n-play server on my smartTV or my smartBluray, which is the only reason i bought it. What it says it will do it doesn't do. But there is no refund or return policy, not on any app or any other digital product. The reason I buy so few of these things. You give all the power to the seller, hell you and I do not even own these things we buy. We only have them for as long as the real owner things we deserve to. Boycott all "app" stores, having a customer service problem with them is like living in a soviet block country. You don't own music, music owns you!

2.0 out of 5 stars Great on Atrix Sucks on Kindle Fire March 14, 2012
Verified Purchase
I have had this app on my atrix for about 6 months now and it works great. I can stream movies from my Pc using tversity and the format doesn't matter. So since I had such a good experience on my phone I figured I would purchase the app for my Fire. Every time I try to watch any video with this app I lose wifi connection. It doesn't matter which format I chose, even if it is a supported mp4. The only way I can get my wifi to reconnect is by killing the app. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in future updates.

2.0 out of 5 stars Would have been good... November 5, 2012

This would be exactly what I wanted except it will not see my music folders on my Windows Home Server 2011 box. It sees my pictures and video folders fine. Emailed the company but no reply.
