Arkanoid is a classic! This is your chance to play it on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). You pilot the Vaus. The object of the game is to keep the ball in the playing field and destroy all of the bricks. A level is complete when all the bricks are destroyed by the ball. It sounds simple, but can get pretty hectic! Some bricks require several hits before they're destroyed, and some can't be destroyed at all. Some bricks drop power-ups, such as a ball multiplier and a laser. Alien space ships will appear that you can also destroy. Arkanoid has some incredibly fast-paced action that is incredibly addictive! There are over thirty levels, each of which requires lightening quick reflexes, so this game will definitely give hours of fun. This game supports two-player gameplay to add even more fun!

Consider Arkanoid to be something like a souped-up version of Atari's Super Breakout. But there are some original ideas in Arkanoid such as balls slowing down, balls that turn into fireballs and cut thru blocks faster than a Ginsu "cutting thru a cinderblock and then slicing a tomato to perfection", and multi-balls. "Arkanoid : Doh It Again" is great...the only drawback is you have to play the game using the SNES thumbpad. The maker of the game should've included a paddle controller with the game (after all, the NES version of Arkanoid included a paddle controller).
