Award-winning Arkansas author Christine Lynxwiler lives with her husband and two daughters in the beautiful Ozark mountains. She has been writing toward publication since 1997 and sold her first story in 2001 to Barbour Publishing. Since then she's written sixteen Christian romance novels and novellas including the best-selling Arkansas, which has sold over 150,000 copies worldwide. That is all I can say! This is the second book I have read in the Christian Romance Books and I didn't think I would be interest in them but I was WRONG!! I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to ANYONE from a teen to the older women at church!

In ARKANSAS, the four McFadden brothers find love, whether they want to or not.
IN SEARCH OF LOVE:
When Annalisa Davis was seventeen and her sister Amy was a baby, their mother died and Amy was put in a foster home. Annalisa wants her back. She needs a private investigator and her heart is set on getting Cade McFadden, but he had taken a leave of absence to start a boys ranch. In an attempt to coax him into taking her case, Annalisa applies for a job at the ranch as a cook. Cade doesn't want to take on another case, but how can he turn down the woman he's learning to love?
PATCHWORK AND POLITICS:
Politics can be a rough game and no one knows that better than Senator Holt McFadden. So why would he fall in with the one woman who could ruin his career. Megan Watson's former husband was a con-man supreme. He cheated a lot of people out of their life savings. When he took his own life, Megan was left to take the blame, although she was innocent. When Holt McFadden persists on coming around, Megan tries to convince him they have no future together, but Holt is difficult to discourage. Will the senator risk his career and everything he has worked for to win the shy, reculsive, quilter?
THROUGH THE FIRE:
Clint McFadden loved his job as a firefighter until his best friend died and Clint couldn't save him. Now, because he is afraid to go into a fire again, his career is over. Jessica Sykes grew up sickly,and her parents have always protected her. She moved to Arkansas in order to have a life of her own without someone worrying about her all the time. When the cabin she is renting burns, Clint rescues her. She is attracted to him, but he insists on trying to take care of her. Can Clint, the has-been firefighter, and the overly defensive Jessica overcome their problems and find true love?
LONGING FOR HOME:
Brandi Delaney had a crush on Jake McFadden when they were in high school, but one date cured her of that. Now her parents are gone on a trip and Brandi is back in Arkansas, taking care of her younger siblings, and Jake McFadden is a permanent guest at her grandmother's bed and breakfast. Jake, a pro-baseball player, has hurt his shoulder and is taking therapy. He rescues Brandi from a swollen creek, and she's grateful, but not enough to forgive him for that high school date. The world is full of men. She doesn't need Jake McFadden.

This is the story of four brothers, each very much his own man; each leading an interesting life with interesting careers. They are not ready for love and committment, but four your ladies think otherwise.

The childhood home of the brothers is a place you would like to visit, and you will very much enjoy your sojourn in Arkansas. Each novella stands alone, but is greatly enriched by the common threads of family. All eight of the characters are persons of strong faith. This book is well written , an excellent read.
