Published in 1987, "Arkansas Roadsides" is definitely dated.Although it is primarily a listing of places in Arkansas, it also has separate sections listing state parks, national forests, lakes, etc and also, in the main part, it has special short essays on a variety of topics (e.g. railroads, grist mills, the trail of tears, etc). We used it every day while tgravelling around Arkansas. |
