Beautiful but faulty construction :(,

We bought a set of these cushions and loved the look of them and the feel of them. They are ultra suede and they are soft to the touch and the padding is wonderful. However, I have to give these 1 star because in less than one month half of them began to fall apart.
There are no buttons on these pads (you would have to look very closely to notice that) and instead of buttons there are "indents". I've never seen this type of construction on a seat cushion before and I am not sure why the manufacturer opted for this method but this is definitely an engineering flaw. Let me explain further: Several of the areas where the button-type indents were started to tear all the way through. I could understand a tear perhaps if someone was wearing jeans with a comb in the back pocket or with buttons or the like ... but this was not the case. Not at all! I returned all the cushions for a refund and am not quite sure what I am going to get to replace them. I wish the manufacturer of these would rethink the design and place actual buttons on them. They are gorgeous and comfortable -- but those silly "non buttons" are a flaw that is going to result in many returns. Although I hate to do it, I would recommend that buyers beware and steer clear of these cushions until they are created with buttons. The design thoughts were good with the rubber micro dots on the bottoms instead of ties. VERY COOL. But those fake button spots. Not cool at all. 1 star.

My son is 4.5yrs old and we use this as a booster seat. We did this because the current seat he has doesn't let him sit "up" in and use the back of the chair properly. This pad is thick enough to get him high enough so his arms are at the table height. He really needed to start working on his dinner table posture and manners so we had to get him out of that "toddler" booster seat as soon as possible. Also as long as you wipe up the spills and messes off this frequently then it stays nice. This has been an added bonus because I didn't expect it to resist staining as well as it does. It gets spills on it nightly and it's been holding up beautifully.
