Velvet curtains can add a look of luxury as well as a sense of warmth and comfort to a room. Made of 100 percent cotton velvet, these two panels are tailored with a three-inch hem, sewn edges, and a three-inch pole sleeve topped by a two-inch flange. The panels are unlined, which lightens the weight and won't completely darken a room.

Measuring a total of 80 inches wide and 84 inches in length, the curtains handsomely fit a window that measures between three and four feet in width. The general rule of thumb is that the combined width of curtain panels should equal twice the width of the window frame. I got these in moss green and I cannot believe how gorgeous and expensive looking they are. The color is perfect!! When my family was over last weekend it was one of the first things mentioned. My sister just bought some at a different store for about twice as much money and they are no where near the heavy, luxurious velvet that these are. Money well spent. I bought these last two packages in my color and I wish I could get more of them!!

I love these gold drapes. This is a great price for a great set of curtains. Only downside is there is no lining, so they do fade, and velvet is hard to clean without damaging (especially if sun faded).

But with the price of dry cleaning, and the time and pain of handwashing and line drying -- at this price, I'll just buy new ones. As soon as they are available again! Oh please, oh please let that be soon!)

I thought that these were pretty good quality for the price, nice and heavy. Alas I had to return them as the color was not as expected, I found them to be more taupe than gold.
