5.0 out of 5 stars Alda finds magical numbers in photos of ordinary objects., October 6, 1998
By A Customer
Our family loved the way Arlene Alda found and photographed the alphabet - "J" is the curve of a coat hanger, "C" are shrimp curled in a pan. In this book she looks for magic numbers - "8" is two bagels on top of each other, "9" is the handle of a pair of scissors. The kids love to try and find their own "letters" and "numbers" when they are outside playing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arlene Alda's 123, January 26, 2009
This review is from: Arlene Alda's 1 2 3: What Do You See? (Paperback)
This book is excellent. Mrs. Alda brings math to the preschooler in a fun way that extends far beyond the book. The book is a simple counting book with wonderful photos that support a number. A child can use the knowledge from the book and find numbers around them everywhere! This is a wonderful counting book for all learning styles. Highly recommend!
