This is an excellent product, but for the same quantity it is $5.34 at Costco.

I use this for cleaning and getting rid of stubborn odors everywhere, and it just works. I seriously don't know why it is so overpriced from this merchant though.

I've used other brands of baking soda, Arm & Hammer is the best for making fizzy bombs by far!
1 cup citric acid (best price; Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz))
2 cups baking soda (definitely Arm & Hammer brand)
20-30 drops of essential oil- I prefer Lavender but you can use just about anything!
A tiny bit of water
...and in case you were wondering what the heck bath fizzy bombe are, here is an easy home recipe. The kids love em!

1. Mix together citric acid and baking soda in a bowl. I find that the easiest way to mix the two powders is actually to sift them back and forth between two bowls.
2. Add essential oils. Mix rapidly with your hands before the mixture has a chance to fizz
3. Spray water onto the mixture a tiny bit at a time, and continue mixing. You probably need less water than what you think! Aim for where it is still pretty crumbly but will just hold its shape when you squeeze it hard in your hand.
4. Pack the mixture tightly into your mold(s).
5. Let your bomb(s) dry for a couple of hours in a warm, dry place.. Keep them out of direct sunlight though. I like to place the bombs in a little "nests" of tissue paper. It seems to help them dry better, and stops round ones from getting flat on the bottom.

I am rating for the product not the price. I have found it much cheaper in Costco & BJ's. I use this product for my almost 3 yr old son's bath along with Epsom Salt. He has sensitive skin & allergies. The baking soda & Epsom salt bath helps to detox him. The size is very convenient. Now I don't have to buy a million little boxes.

This is great for:
- baking
- gently, but firmly, cleaning stubborn residue
- deodorizing and cleaning garbage cans
- deodorizing your shoe closet
- cleaning bathtub / shower grime
- whitening teeth
- cleaning your hair
- using it as an egg substitute (gotta have distilled white vinegar, too, though)
... and so much more!

product is fine but I'm pissed at myself about buying this. I'm usually really good about price checking but I bought along with other ingredients for making "vicks" shower bombs hoping to not leave my house since I have the flu. I paid almost $17 for this bag and yesterday at BJs I saw the same bag for sale for $6. just make sure you check the prices better. I understand paying a little more sometimes for convenience but thats a little excessive... totally my fault for not checking better

Started using this instead of bubbles in sons' bath, and its helped alleviate his eczema & itching.
We had a big bag like this for years before figuring out how to use it up.
Turns out it is fun to play with in the bath as well, so double the benefit at a good price.

You can buy this at Costo for around $5. Kind of annoying that someone would be selling this for over three times that amount.
