The "Fresh scent" makes this litter a problem. The scent smells terrible. And when mixed with cat waste, the combination smells so much worse! If you're going to buy this litter, make sure you buy unscented!!

After trying several clay cat litters, I found this one to be the best for my needs.

Pros:
1. Eliminates or masks cat urine and poop smells. I often don't scoop the litter box daily, but the smell stays contained in the box which was a problem with several other litters I tried. I found that my cat has a problem burying her poop, and this litter was very good at keeping the smell down.
2. Clumps well for easy removal. Like most clay scoopable litters, this one clumps well and is easy to scoop with no excessive flaking.

Cons:
1. It is dusty and my cat tends to track it around with her. I will say I have found the finer the individual particles a cat litter has the better the odor control, but the worst the tracking and dust is, so it seems to me that better odor control usually comes at the cost of greater tracking and dust.
2. It has a heavy perfume smell that gets stronger after a cat moves the litter around. So, if you don't like the original smell of the litter, than you probably shouldn't use it since the smell seems to cover about a 5-10 ft radius around the litter box.

I would say if odor control is your main problem, than this litter may be a good solution. But if your worried more about tracking and dust then this litter may not be for you.

This product works as well or better than any clumping product that I've used. Unfortunately, even when there's no pet odor, there's the lingering fragrance of the kitty litter. People with cats know I have a cat, not because of her odors, but because they recognize the fragrance of the kitty litter. When my cat does her thing, the odor of the litter is more pronounced. For awhile it competes with the odor of her deposit. Nasty. I switched permanently to the unscented Arm and Hammer. The only time I smell anything is before she covers it up. What a relief. I didn't realize until it was gone how pervasive it was.

Scoop litter that absorbs and reduces smell plus it's bacteria resistant. Easy to clean and banish odors. All cats love this litter even those with sensitive paws after they have been declawed.

IT IS GOOD, POSSIBLY AS GOOD AS MOST. I WISH IT WAWS MORE TRACK FREE. I USE IT MORE THAN ANY OTHER

I have two picky cats and they have only one preferred litter. This really cuts down on odor and doesn't make a mess when I change the box. I especially like the larger size, since I usually buy enough for about 6 months at a time. The Arm and Hammer brand and super clumping make life easier!

Comparing it to the Arm and Hammer Super Scoop Clumping Cat Litter, Unscented, 28 Pound Box, it clumps better, it covers the odor far better, and it lasts longer since it's 12 lbs. more.

I highly recommend it, especially if you have more than one cat!

First time I opened the box, I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of perfume they used on this litter sand. It is so strong I get a headache just from smelling it, and every time my cats use the litter box, the whole house smells like the litter sand perfume, and I have a jumbo hooded litter box. I believe instead of relying on the baking soda to eliminate the odor, it is trying to mask the smell by heavily perfuming the thing.. Horrible!

on top of that, when you pour the litter sand in the litter box, you get an incredible dust cloud--fine clay powder that stays and hangs in the air for a very long time (definitely more than a few minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed in the air for an hour). Everything and anything around the litter box is soon covered with a dense sheet of fine clay. it's horrible whenever I try to clean the litter as it also creates dust cloud that won't go away, and makes me cough. If it makes me cough in open air with my face 2-3 feet away from the litter sand, imagine what it's like to the cats digging while sniffing? Horrible!

I'm actually pretty amazed that my cats have not rejected the litter sand for the heavy perfume smell, or coughed from the dust it generates. Unfortunately I will have to use this for a little while longer until I use up the box (almost gone! yay!), but never again will I buy this brand.

I gave it two stars since if you put enough sand in the box (minimum 3-4inches deep) the urine will ball up and stay clumped. but if it's any less than that the urine will not create a tight ball but spread, and it will not effectively clump, leaving several 1/4-1/2" broken up particles in the litter box which is very difficult to remove.

Overall a poor choice of clumping litter sand. i'm sure there are others that are either a lot less dusty or less perfumed. Either will be a big improvement over this one.

I'm not an experienced cat owner, but this seems like perfectly functional cat litter: clumps well, dries fast, doesn't stick to the box much. My cats don't seem to mind it. But "Destroys Odors Instantly"?! Gaaah! Only if you don't consider the "Fresh Scent" of the litter itself.

It's so sickly-sweet-perfumey that I think I prefer the smell of cat poo, thanks. Every time the cats scratch in it (in a covered litter box, mind you), a cloud of this scent fills the house; and the perfume clings to the cats' feet, making them smell horrible, too. I look forward to the day when this carton of litter is finally empty, so I can replace it with something--anything!--unscented. Blecch.
