Baking soda toothpaste is an acquired taste. At first, I found this one too salty, but the flavor is nicely balanced with a little mint. This toothpaste leaves a really fresh taste in my mouth, without the burning sensation some minty flavors have. It's a more natural freshness as opposed to a medicinal flavor.

I have used this product for a number of years but none of the
major drug stores in the New York City area are carrying the
original formula toothpaste anymore. Is there a reason for this?
Some of the store clecks tell me you dom't sell it anymore. I'm
talking Duane Reid, CVS and Rite Aid. Please let me know because
I am not too crazy about the newer toothpastes you have come out
with.

This toothpaste is good. I can't say it does a much better job cleaning or brightening my teeth or that my breath smells better, but it's a nice change from mint-flavored paste.

I find that in using this product this incidence of plaque is reduced. The baking soda content seems to work.

My great aunt always told us to add baking soda to our toothpaste for "cleaner, whiter teeth." Well, "Auntie" knew of what she spoke.

I have used only Arm & Hammer products for the past decade or longer and have nothing but praise for their cleansing capabilities.

Others may complain about the gritty taste, but I find it refreshing and leaves my mouth with a freshness that traditional toothpastes can't match.

I highly recommmend the advanced formula, as well as others in the A & H lineup, having tried them all.

This toothpaste tastes pleasant and works well. It does have the telltale gritty taste often found with baking soda toothpastes, but it's not overpowering. It left my teeth feeling squeaky-clean!

I've always been satisfied with Arm & Hammer Dental Care products. However, this particular toothpaste was lackluster in comparison to other, newer products on the market. It left a gritty aftertaste in my mouth, which the newer Arm & Hammer products do not. Overall, I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for generic toothpaste. For myself, I'll probably stick to the toothpaste I currently use.

This toothpaste left my teeth feeling very clean, like I'd just come from the dentist. The texture of the toothpaste was different from my usual brand, and at first I thought the taste was awful. But after using it a few times, the flavor didn't bother me quite as much, especially if I used a mint-flavored mouthwash afterward. I'd consider buying it again, if the price were comparable to my usual brand.

I really liked this Arm & Hammer Dental Care Baking Soda toothpaste, from taste to performance. It has a slightly gritty texture, probably from the baking soda, that really gets my teeth clean. It makes my teeth feel like they do after a professional cleaning. The taste is slightly salty, due to the baking soda -- but this salt freak loved it!

I really enjoyed using this toothpaste. I found it lightened up my not-so-white teeth. I liked the taste of it. I'd recommend it to my family and friends.
