1.0 out of 5 stars The first sci-fi novel I ever read.
It is a miracle that I ever read again.

Zero stars. Are there negative stars?

The main character's name is Captain Broadsword. Need I say more?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Goodie, September 10, 2005

I still have this book today (albeit a bit tattered and with yellow pages). I pull it out every couple of years for a quick read. My kids read it and loved it. Would love to see a movie adaption done.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read, March 1, 2004

I first read this book a long time ago, and I read it many times since then. The story is pretty dated these days, but the plot was a good one and for an sci-fi based adventure novel its very good.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best Sci-Fi of it's era, February 10, 1999

It was well written and laid out, depicting a tale that spans many lifetimes. Way ahead of it's time for space drama, worthey of scruteny.
