5.0 out of 5 stars Really will grow on you
This is the only CD I own by Neaera so I can't compare it to their other CD's. Upon listening to the first few tracks of this CD I thought that is was pretty standard stuff in the vein of melodic death metal-ish music. However, this CD has really grown on me over multiple listens. There probably isn't anything too ground breaking on this album, but everything is really...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not that impressive
Looks like ill have to apologize to neaera fans but this newest product here isnt that impressive. Very mediocre metalcore/death with only a couple of decent tracks. The 2 vocalist sound alot like Black Dahlia Murders 2 vocalist. Do yourself a favor and forget about these guys and pick up a better band from Germany called Heaven Shall Burn, their newest Iconoclast which...

This is the only CD I own by Neaera so I can't compare it to their other CD's. Upon listening to the first few tracks of this CD I thought that is was pretty standard stuff in the vein of melodic death metal-ish music. However, this CD has really grown on me over multiple listens. There probably isn't anything too ground breaking on this album, but everything is really done beautifully and has a fantastic sense of melody. Once I was about 6 minutes into the 11th track (Liberation) it just sort of dawned on me that this band really knows what they are doing. I am very impressed with all of the tracks on this CD and it is much more than just standard metal fare. Give it a chance and listen to the album in full a few times. I promise you won't be disappointed.

If you have a craving for some very heavy melodic music I would highly recommend this CD. I just keep coming back to it for more and I hope you like it as well.

I heard this band on XM radio & had to have their CD. Some reviews stated this CD was not as good as their earlier CD's so I also purchased Let the Tempest Come, just in case. My husband and I both agree that Armamentarium is MUCH better.
