This book is broken down into topics that teens and many adults deal with and then provides scriptures from the Bible that deal with these topics. There are no commentaries, no one elses thoughts or answers, only God's answers. It is an easy to use format that will aid in the ministry to self or others.

I discovered this book from my Sunday School teacher several years ago, and I have loved it ever since! I literally cannot keep myself a copy because I enjoy giving it away to everyone. It is an excellent tool for finding appropriate verses about nearly every topic from abortion to dancing. I couldn't imagine planning for a lesson without this book! I truly feel that everyone would be more than pleased with this selection. God bless!

A great list of topics that young adults often have to deal with and find Biblical answers concerning. Has references and includes the actual verse! It also usually ends each section with a verse of hope, something that is so often forgotten. The only problem I have is very cosmetic- the cover is fluorescent orange. It may have been a "cool" color when published, but teens these days may have problems with displaying it on a bookshelf. However, the information inside is worth a book cover. Get a copy- it's good for adults too!!

Armed and Dangerous provides a quick and easy reference to some of life's toughest issues, especially for teens and college students. It focuses on Biblical "advice" to subjects such as anxiety, attitude, death, faith, and 105 other topics. It would be a perfect gift for a high school graduate!

A good resource if you are looking for a compilation of verses by topic. Does not include any devotions or narrative content.

I had this book years ago and klung to it like my bible because of it's great categorizing of scriptures. My son was asking lots of questions and I knew it was just what he needed to help learn scriptures that would help him learn more about God's word. The book is broken into topics like heaven, angels, patience, anger, etc. It is an excellent resource. There are now 3 copies at my house.

This wonderful book arranges biblical scriptures by topics such as scriptures for: anxiety, friends, guilt, alcoholism, salvation etc.
It is a geat resource to quickly find scriputures arranged by topics for a quick reference. It is not a concordace, its a quick reference tool.

This is a great book. I was given on upon my graduation from high school, and have since given away dozen sof them to others of all ages. It's a great way to quickly and easily see exactly what the Bible has to say about lots of common, and important, topics at a glance. It's very neutrally written, so you can't argue with it - the verses are straight from the Bible, and are not taken out of context. Honestly, my only disappointment with this book is when I look for a topic in it, but find that it's not there. I'd love to see an expanded edition come out in the future.

Highly recommended as a gift for those you teach, whether youth or adults. The price is great, and it's almost always eligible for Amazon's 4-for-the-price-of-3 offer.

Ignore the main description, this book is NOT just for teenagers! This book should be in the hands of every true Christian because it contains many of the most important & powerful bible scriptures. Armed and Dangerous will provide you with all the spiritual armor you need to combat the evil forces of Satan & the world. Biblical topics such as abortion, alcohol, drug abuse, doubt, salvation, money, and more are covered here with many great verses. All of the verses are from either the KJV or the NIV.

Great tool, esp for high school and college aged believers (many topics lean to their season of life), to use when seeking topical bible verses for prayer and meditation. Also, when anxiety overcomes and need verse in a moment. Great graduation gifts. small size easy for travel.
