Got at Target for $18. CLean cool design, but the face was a lot larger than I thought. The pics on Amazon don't convey the mass and scale. The face is also slightly angled toward the viewer when strapped to the wrist. gimmicky? Numbers are large and easy to read. nice cheap watch, we'll see how long it will last!

Stay away from this watch. I really liked this watch - great for snorkeling with its large face. But I have had it for only 4 ½ months and some numerals often do not appear. You must tap the watch face regularly to get the numerals to re-appear and sometimes that does not work. I presume it is just a matter of time before they all go. Yes, it has a warranty - for $9.95 and paying the postage myself I can get it repaired or get a refurbished watch. The watch cost $18.75. So, I must pay more than half the price to get a refurbished watch which could do the same thing in another 4 ½ months. I think it is time to move on. I will stay away from Armitron.

I have bought this watch before and loved it. I wore out the first one (scratched face & worn band) because I wore it to work everyday (tough environment). I have to document TIME all day long, so this watch is perfect because you can read it without raising your wrist up to your face. I also get lots of comments on it! I own four different Armitron watches and they all are top quality and you can't beat the price.

NOT A BAD WATCH.. IT HAS ALL YOU NEED IN A WATCH, TIME DATE AND DAY OF WEEK. THE PRICE IS GREAT.

I loves the style. I wears every day, it alarms me every morning to get up for work, peoples at work likes the watch they trying to get from me.

I purchased this watch because of its large sized display and its professional appearance in the advertisement. It was exactly what I ordered. It will be a good time piece in an outdoor work environments, but it will present a more business like appearance than the typical sports watch.

In addition to the larger sized numbers, the back light is sufficiently bright to make the display easy to read during darkness.

A caution: the housing for the watch is approximately 1.5" x 1 5/8"; therefore, if you have a small wrist, the size might overwhelm it in appearance and in being cumbersome.

Finally, an additional plus is that I can buy a replacement band for the present one when it wears out. I have been very satisfied with Armitron watches, but many of them do not have replacement wrist bands -- when they break or wear out, you need to buy another watch completely. This watch has a band that is separable from the time piece.

I have always loved this watch for the past fifteen years. Unfortunately,when I replaced the battery, I found myself in a tricky dis-assembly/re-assembly situation, and it never worked correctly afterwards. The new one I just purchased puts me right back to start--owning that fantastic watch. I just recently set all the clocks in our house for the conversion back to Standard Time using this watch and initially found the time, including the seconds, matched another clock I have that uses the atomic signal from Colorado. Finally it was also the design that really sold me--a rectangle which you rarely see--most are round.

I do a lot of kitesurfing and I needed a watch that my 65 year old eyes could see, while out on the water. While my Rip Curl watch was a good watch, it kept getting fogged up and the numbers were just to hard to see. This Armitron watch is very easy to read and does NOT fog up at all. For the price, you can't go wrong with this purchase.
