Bought this watch for my girlfriend as an early Christmas present. A few quick things i have to say about it:
-It's smaller in person that it appears in the picture
-The black band is quite thin
-The gold accents are only faintly gold; they appear more silver at a quick glance

All in all though, this is a beautiful, classy watch that would make a great present for the woman in your life. I approve!

Beautiful watch...I love it so much (Im actually wearing it right now). I actually think the image shown above does no justice for the watch. The quality is excellent, it would really make a great gift.

I got this watch about 2 years back.. It still works perfectly. It is a beautiful watch for casual wear. The strap quality is also good. I recommend Armitron brand to anyone. I got another watch for my mom also. It looks almost similar to this but has got a oval dial instead of a round one. She liked it too.

It's water resistant to about 100ft, but I bought it for my belle mostly for the design (most watches in this price range are very good, and then it becomes a matter of preference and taste). It's very simple and elegant without being gaudy. The actual watch face is more blueish-greenish than the yellow picture displays, thanks to the cool-looking crystal. 4 stars because the damned bacelet is for ladies with inhumanly large wrists (even with the extension off), so it will have to be fitted to her. Oh well.

Armitron isn't a bad brand at all, and the watch seems sturdily constructed. Only time will tell if the movement was well-done. But it has a limited lifetime warranty on the movement...A simple yet aesthetically versatile quality watch which looks VERY nice both on and off her. Oh, and she likes it, too. And that's what counts.

As others have said, this watch is quite elegant and it's hard to believe it's so inexpensive. there is a small, clear stone at 12 o'clock and gold dots for the numbers. The sweep second hand is gold, as are the hour and minute hands. It's just the right diameter and is just so pretty. Hopefully it will be sturdy and durable, but don't know that yet as i just have had it for a month. So far I am very pleased with it.

I am wearing it right now, I use it for work I need to measure radial pulse. I wanted something small and sleek, instead of carrying around an enormous MK watch. Great watch!

I liked the watch at first. It's pretty and it ran fine--for two months. Then it dropped dead.

I had the battery checked, and that wasn't the problem. A watch ought to last longer than two months. Since I bought it from Amazon, there doesn't seem to be any way to exchange it for a model that actually works. (I checked.) I know that all products have lemons occasionally, but this has rather soured me on Armitron watches.

I love this watch! I purchased it for myself after Christmas. Other reviewers have stated that it looks better in person, and it does. It is lightweight and small, yet I have had no problems seeing the dial. I would purchase it again and I am sure that I will buy for someone else as a gift - all around excellent watch.

Inexpensive watches that don't look cheap are hard to find. This is one of the few inexpensive elegant watches out there. The watch has a very simple design, is very subdued and fairly small.
It looks good against paler arms, and with darker dresses.

Interestingly, there is a diamond at the 12 o'clock position. At under $20 I suspect this is an artificial diamond, but who's looking?

UPDATE: I reduced this to 3 stars because the face plate is weak. Under normal use the faceplate got scratched and then cracked. Otherwise the watch was very promising.

This is my second one of the same design. I love it because you can dress it up or down. Simple, sleek yet sophisticated. Another added plus is it is great for small wrists so it fits perfectly since this is problematic for me with larger watches.

The only reason I had to replace it is because I cracked the faceplate after buying a new battery trying to put the back on which was very difficult.

For me, I agree with some of the other reviewers this watch looks better in person. As long as this Armitron watch is offered I will be a loyal owner.
