I had the same watch for few years, the only difference - the first one had a blue dial. It is a really great watch, not many women watches have date and day. Watch is very easy to operate (I have absolutely no idea why the previous reviewer wrote that he had trouble with it), and it looks nice too - mother-of-pearl and crystals.

This is the perfect watch for everyday wear. It is very sturdy and keeps time perfectly. I had no problem setting the day/date and time functions (just read the directions that come with the watch). I have had this watch for approximately 1 month and have had absolutely NO problems. I love this watch and I wear it everyday. Definitely recommend!

this is a stunning watch! very fashionable and comfortable. very worth the money. i wear it daily and i have had many compliments on it. it looks like a high end fashion watch. would highly recommend this watch. a great addition to my fashion accessories. this was the second watch i have purchased by armitron. it can be worn for dress or casual.

I am hard on watches. So let's get that straight. I have had this one over four months and it's holding up wonderfully. A smaller woman will have to have links taken out but my husband did that with ease. A larger woman will be thrilled to get this watch because it's going to fit. That was honestly a concern of mine because I have bought them before and had the band be too small. I was concerned with the metal band pinching my skin but it hasn't. The clasp is strong and stays shut. It keeps time wonderfully. Works great as a casual OR dress watch. Best of all it survives my swimming and taking a shower without having to take it off. If I lose it I will be buying another one!

This is a great watch, I have worn Timex but Armitron is really my watch of choice. It looks very classy, yet it is casual enough for daily wear. I actually never take off this watch, I wear it to bed, in the shower, everywhere, and it works wonderfully. My last Armitron looked exactly like this one and lasted 4 years, again having worn it everywhere. It is not easy to find a nice looking women's watch with both the day of the week and date, that is lightweight and feminine looking, that is priced right. I LOVE THIS WATCH!

The only caveat is that the advertised "glow in the dark" functionality on the hands of the watch do not work at all. I've tried being in the sunlight for hours (I go running with this watch) and trying to see if it glows and it doesn't.

Still, 5 stars!!

I was so happy to find this watch. I purchased one similar from Armitron in early 1983 and used it until 2009. Then the band was becoming a little old and tired, the silver and gold were not as bright and dulled. But other than that it was working great. Couldn't find another Armitron at the time so bought another more expensive watch, but it wasn't as water resistant, the battery went dead fairly soon, and then the stem broke. So, found my new Armitron at Amazon, and it is great and I expect to have another 25 years out of this one. Again, the only thing wrong with the old one was the mettalic siver and gold band was faded. Love this watch!

A nice watch, but the wristband is a little flimsy and I had to bend the catch to keep it from coming apart. The face is more plain white looking than mother-of-pearl, but still a good looking watch. No trouble setting the date and it keeps time well.

For the price, this is a very pretty and functional watch. My husband has had Armitron watches to use for work for many years and swears by them. I am very happy with this purchase.

I was disapointed in this watch. I have been unable to regulate the daily change of day and date to correspond with the time. It does keep good time and looks nice though.

Purchased an other watch at twice the price which was advertised as "unisex".

It was extremely bulky and certainly a man's watch.
