I have owned this watch for about six hours, and must say that, while I like the look of the face, I disagree with the other reviews regarding the band. I was extremely disappointed in the not-even-remotely-subtle gray bats all over the black band. I read the reviews and knew that they'd be present, but I had NO IDEA how obtrusive they'd actually be. When coupled with the multi-color accent stitching on the border, I was completely surprised at the difference in appearance between what I saw in my mind when ordering versus what I had in my hand on delivery. I actually disliked the band so much that I went to the store (target), bought a second cheap watch with the same size band (20mm) and swapped the two!

As I said previously, the face itself is nice, and the logo looks clean and has a reasonable polish. I was apparently lucky in that my battery was functioning when the watch arrived. I have posted a user photo of the band so that it is clear how apparent the gray bats really are. In conclusion:

Pros:

-Cheap price

-Clean face

Cons:

-Painfully ugly band

Bottom Line:

If you buy this, seriously consider ordering a new 20mm band at the same time if you don't want something that looks especially tacky and/or childish.

I bought this watch because my boyfriend is a huge batman fan...Face: the batman logo looks exactly like the picture and size of the face is nice. Watchband: The quality of the leather is not that great and the logo on the band was slightly scratched off when it arrived; however, my boyfriend insisted on keeping it because it was a minor defect BUT within 2 months it stopped working. We took it to get the batteries changed and the jeweler told us that is was completely broken..and now it's too late to return the watch and there's no warranty! Don't buy this cheap watch! you get what you pay for...

The watch was exactly as described, but the watch band was not a plain black band. The band was a cheap looking vinyl band with batman logos printed on it. The logos appeared to be rubbing off quickly. But I was intending to replace it with a good leather band anyway. The receiver loved it.

Wanting a superhero related watch, I decided to go for this one as it looked a little more grownup than some of the others I had looked at. The band is a little childish. It's black with gray bats all over it, but it doesn't look that bad.

The watch part itself looks nice, but the glass is a little too reflective. You kind of have to position the watch just so in the light so it doesn't cause a glare.

The watch is also fairly lightweight, which is a plus.

Also, I read in another review that this watch is a kinetic one, which means you need to shake it in order to have the battery work and move your arm every so often with it on. Armitron should put that somewhere on the box or something because I noticed others thought the battery was dead or whatever.

Overall, pretty nice Batman watch.

I've always been a big fan of Batman, and I've always wanted something to wear that was cool but didn't draw too much attention. This watch was perfect. Many people have critized the band but I like it; it's very different. My only tiny complaint is that the watch is a little big and it dances a bit around my wrist, but it's not the watch's fault. My wrist are just tiny. This watch is flat out my favorite addition to my Batman collection, well worth the money.

when i first recieved this item it did not work. I realized that this watch works only when it feels motion. To first get the watch to work you must SHAKE IT. Then if you dont want it to stop, every hour or so make sure you have been moving your arm. For a few days i though it was broken until i figured it out.

I got this watch for my boyfriend, he is a Batman fan.

The watch is really nice and you can wear everyday, don't looks like a child watch.

I really disappointment because in the picture the watch band is black,but its black with gray bats, also battery was dead.

well, In conclusion is a cool watch with great prize; special for everybody that loves Batman.

Just got this watch yesterday from Amazon.

I wanted a cheap watch that I could wear everyday, and this was cheap and looks pretty cool too. I'm a fan of the new Batman movies, and the Arkham Asylum video game, so this was a no brainer.

I couldn't tell from the pictures, but the watch band is black, with gray bats on it too. The silver bat logo on the face of the watch is bright in the right light, but subtle most of the time.

I can't comment on the timekeeping ability, as like the other reviewer, my watch battery is also dead. I'm about to goto the store to get a new battery right after I type this review.

But for 20 bucks, it's a cool watch if you are a Batman fan.

I'm a good Batman Fan, and for "good" I mean the kind of Fan who read the comics, see the animated and movie version, play the video-games and understand the character without wearing Batman`s clothe all day or buying everything comes out with the Bat-Symbol...

I Like this wacth because it looks like a Casual/serious kind of watch. I mean, it doesn't look like a toy since Bats on the whrist band and the logo itself are very discrete and modest...

2 reasons about not given the 5th star: the logo in the picture looks very bright but that has to be because of the Flash of the Camera or something like that beacuse its very modest as mentioned. Kind of ocre, not so clear and bright as I imagine based on the picture. But After one month of using it, I'm starting to believe its better this way so it won't call many attention. So if you like it because looks very very shiny, almost white like in the photo, you better think twice! (I will try later to put a picture of the watch in my hand so you could see it better)

The other reason it's a frustrated thing. Does not work! I mean, at the beguining at least. Apparentely the battery was dead when I receive it so I had to buy another in order to use it.. this shouldn happen! its a new Watch!!!

But anyway, a friend sold me (almost for free) an old battery replacement for watches he had so I just Switch it and that`s it... it was easier that way than trying to contact the seller again, but it shouldn't happen....

One last thing: some days it would say that it took several months to get shipped and somethimes will change the notification to just 1 extra day for shipping... so just keep an eye on it... also, in Amazon, its very common to see Armitron`s Watch in offer, and that a cool thing, just keep an eye on it...
