This watch is cute and comfy. The seller didn't include an instruction manual but I worked out how to set the time and date for myself and put that below in case someone else might find it helpful. The "backlight" (I'm not sure what else to call it) is bright blue and easy to see when I'm outside at night but it only last a few seconds so you have to punch the button frequently if you're using the stop watch function.
How I set the time and date:
(1) (From time telling mode) Press and hold the reset button for about 2 seconds until the day/date display starts flashing
(2)Press the mode button until the desired function (hour, minute, date, etc) starts flashing
(3)Press the start/stop button to change
(4) Press reset when you're finished.

the only reason I gave it a 4 is that there were no instructions in the box on how to set the time etc. I accidentally hit something and now the alarm goes off every night at 1 am and have no idea how to fix it.

I did a lot of research on watches before I settled on this. Price wasn't a big issue, I wanted to spend less than 100. I bought this because of the features and the size of the display and numbers . The pink color more or less blends with anything casual I'm wearing. I like to wear it a little more loose than you might otherwise wear a watch, in more of a bracelet fashion, especially in the summer. I also like the indiglo feature. I think I paid 17 dollars for mine in the spring of 2010, and I bought it directly from Amazon, so you should shop around for sellers. I found a similar watch in a retail store with all of the same features at a similar sale price, so I would be confident in Armitron offering different looking color and styles with all of the same great quality and features.

This watch is really stylish. The silver bezel is very nice and the red does not look like the red on the pic. Its more subdued and blends well with the pink-sort of a metallic fuschia rather than red. This is going to be a great summer watch. The band is very sturdy and not flimsy at all. It came set and ready to go. This was a great price too. Has features that I will use and doesn't have any I won't. Thought about the Casio Baby G but this looks just as cute and cost way less. The 2 day shipping was another plus.

I like this watch and have gotten comments on it. It is comfortable to wear and easy to use.
