Do follow the instructions and watch the videos.

It did have some streaks and bubbles, but the instructions say they will disappear in a few days, so I let it go with some skepticism.

I ordered my ArmorSuit in october when I ordered my Kindle Fire. It ran a few days past receipt of my Kindle but it was in the specified time frame listed by the seller.

Contents were a vial of liquid, a lint free cloth, a paddle to squeeze out water and air bubbles and a sheet with the armorsuit on it. Packaging was excellant (a Heavy Tube) so little chance of having it damaged in shipment. After receiving it, I watched the you tube videos on installation that was recommened and also read the on box instructions. Both were helpful in applying the armorsuit.

It was not difficult to apply. In fact, I was a little off when I put it on and squeezed out the excess liquid and it was easy to lift back off , re-wet it and apply it again. I did this almost immediately so it was still wet. Not sure hot difficult it might be after it dries. The fit to the screen and the slight rim it butts up to is very precise. I suggest doing it in a well lit area (which I did not do on the first attempt) so you can see the exact fit. Moving it around before you squeeze out the excess liquid is very easy.

After 24 hours of drying (Manufacturers reccomendation), I started the kindle back up and there was no loss of touch screen pressure, and it looks great. You can not even tell that it is applied. There are no air bubbles or marks of any kind that show it was applied.

I am very happy with it and it is so much easier to apply than the peel and stick shields that I had for my other electronic devices.

I had purchased another screen protector for the Fire HD 8.9" (by MoKo which I also created a review for) and ultimately was disappointed in it. At the time that I purchased it, reviews for screen protectors were scarce since the Fire HD had just been released (so I had to go on a gamble as to which one to order). So after I had realized that I needed to find another option, I discovered the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield. So here are my thoughts on the product itself.

Accessories (5/5): This particular product comes with all sorts of extra goodies. It comes with a lint free cloth (to swipe off any stray hairs or dust particles from the screen of the Fire HD), a pen-shaped watery spray that you use to spray on your fingertips to keep away fingerprints, a sort of rubbery slab that you use to straighten out any air-bubbles you may come across, instructions on how to set up everything (as well as a link to a YouTube video that walks you through the process of putting everything together), and of course, the screen protector itself. All of these little tidbits are all quite nice, and might I add that the other screen protector I purchased did not come with a YouTube video or the pen-like watery spray. I was very impressed!

Set Up (5/5): As mentioned earlier, this comes with instructions as well as a link to a YouTube video that walks you through (step-by-step) the process of putting everything together. I chose to watch the video and while I had to "pause" a few times, I was generally able to keep up very well. Really the whole ordeal was very simple and while it says to wait a few days for streaks and bubbles to fully vanish, mine cleared away after a day or so. Very convenient!

Color Name: Kindle Fire HDX 7 (2013) Screen Protector Verified Purchase
When I received the Armorsuit screen protector and read the enclosed instructions, panic set in and I instantly decided not to install it. I thought to myself.........there is no way I'm going to put a soggy wet piece of plastic on top of my brand new Kindle Fire HDX........the manufacturer can't be serious! Once the initial shock wore off, I started to worry about future scratches on the screen of my new tablet and decided to investigate the customer reviews for the screen protector. I must have read through about 100 reviews both good and bad, and I noticed that about 3/4 of the reviewers said they would buy this product again. Then I watched the YouTube video 2 or 3 times and thought to myself.......sure........the guy in the video has probably installed these things a few hundred times and that's why it looks so quick and easy. The video showed you could just easily pull it off if it didn't go on right, so I figured what do I have to lose, and after two full days of stressing I finally got brave enough to give it a try. Well.......the truth is........it looks quick and easy in the video because IT REALLY IS quick and easy to install! The entire procedure took me 10 minutes from start to finish, and after 24 hours of sitting in a dust-free drawer to dry properly, the Armorsuit protector is crystal clear and you can’t even tell the tablet has a screen protector on it. The manufacturer does not recommend using a stylus with this product but doesn’t say why. It is possible to use a stylus on this screen protector but the screen doesn’t respond as well as it did before the protector was installed. I found that slightly increasing the pressure on the stylus made it reasonably useable but it’s really not needed because there are no fingerprints with the screen protector installed. I’m glad I didn’t throw away the Armorsuit protector as I had wanted to, and I would definitely purchase this product again.
