I started not to buy a screen protector for the Thrive based on how durable all the reviews said the Thrive's glass screen was but I know one of my dogs/cat will eventually walk on the screen when I leave it laying on the couch. And the demo Thrive I played with at Best Buy had a well-worn screen and I knew I wanted to keep it looking better than that. So I watched the Armorsuit Youtube install videos several times then ordered, was delivered by YesAvenue.com in several days and arrived in perfect condition (was mailed in the retail Armorsuit box in a sturdy paperboard mailing tube within a sealed mailing bag). I always use Steinheil Ultra Crystal screen protectors for my smartphones but they don't make one yet for the Thrive. Those are super nice peel and place (no liquid) installs so I was a bit hesitant to use anything else. My last experience with Zagg protectors left me disappointed as the whole screen and body shield peeled off the phone in my pocket during a week spent in humid sunny Florida. But seeing as I doubt this tablet will be going to Florida I bit the bullet, spent $12 and now have the Armorsuit. After removing the battery I used iKlear to clean the screen and then followed the instructions to the letter and used way more of the liquid solution than I thought I would. One thing to note, I let the Armorsuit protector lay flat for a day before I installed it since it arrives rolled up in a retail box. The install went fast and I didn't have to re-position it much, I used so much of the liquid solution that it slid into place without much fuss. I had placed a t-shirt under the Thrive to use as a work area so when I squeegied out the excess liquid I mopped it right up with the t-shirt so I wouldn't have to use the microfiber cloth as a mop. After using the squeegee and basically being finished with the installed protector laying flat and covering smoothly I noticed the Armorsuit looked awful and had many MANY streaks and a few tiny bubbles underneath. But, I did like they say and sat it up on a shelf for 24 hours. Then a day later I examined it and noticed the bubbles were gone but a tiny (about 3 millimeters) area on the edge of the protector had curled up so I used a warm blow dryer on that area as I massaged it down with my thumb. That whole process took about 15 seconds to fix and it has been great for 4 days so I think it's fixed for good. Now about those MANY streaks - after I fixed that curl I did like the install video says and used a microfiber cloth to thoroughly wipe the protected screen. That did it, all streaks gone with some elbow grease and it honestly looks better now than it did when it didn't have a screen protector. The Thrive works great now, the screen is protected from whatever and I cannot detect a difference in the screen's sensitivity to touch. Best $12 I ever spent on a $400 computer. The Armorsuit does have a very slight texture to it (I struggle to notice it) but nothing as obtrusive feeling as the orange peel feeling of the Zagg. As far as dimensions and fit goes it hugs the screen edges of the 2 long sides and the curved camera side perfectly, flawlessly. However the short side opposite the camera (the right side of the Thrive if the power button is on top) is the only fit issue as the Armorsuit is about one millimeter shy of covering the edge of the glass here. Not a big deal to me and hardly worth mentioning a millimeter but an honest review is an honest review. Oh, and the post below complaining about the Armorsuit being too thick - it is half as thick as a credit card, lol give me a break!

I choose this product after a failed attempt with a Zagg screen protector. The Zagg folded up on itself like cheap food wrap when I sprayed on the adhesive, making the entire mess totally unusable. The ArmorSuit is thicker, easier to handle, and installed the way it was supposed to. I strongly suggest viewing the AmorSuit installation video (see YouTube) and don't be stingy with the adhesive spray. I wound up with some imperfections after installation, and was wondering if I'd have to live with a few bumps and pebbling that appeared from the process. Following directions, I left the screen alone for a day and was delighted to find a smooth, flawless surface. I've been using my Thrive for weeks now, and haven't noticed any decrease in the sensitivity of the touch screen. Dust and fingerprints clean off like a charm, and unless you make the effort to look for it, you wouldn't know the AmorSuit is there. It's also a pretty tough surface, which is important for a tablet. ArmorSuit is the one to buy, just be sure you follow the directions and give the screen protector a day to set properly.

Followed the instructions and of course the actual installation is never as easy as they try to make it sound. Instructions say to spray solution and then slide the protector into place. They say two pumps of the spray but if you expect to be able to slide the film into place you're going to have to really soak the thing. After all that there was a hard little nugget of a spot right in the middle of the screen after the protector was installed. Removed the film thinking maybe a speck of dust somehow got under there, but it wasn't dust it was a defect in the film. Went on their website to see about the "Lifetime Warranty". It's a joke... they want you to fill out a form, send it to them via email, wait for an RMA, then send them the defective product along with shipping and handling for shipping out the new film. No thank you. I'll take advantage of Amazon's 30 day return policy and try a different brand.

You get one shot at this. Don't Blow it. The instructions were simple and clear and even included a website to watch a video. The video said "don't worry if you don't get it on strait the first time... You can respray it and reposition it. However, the more I lifted it up to spray and the messier it got. My complaint is that they don't give you enough spray so you'd better just get it right on your first shot.
The product almost worked for me but didn't. And the so called warranty only warrants against scratches that come post application and does not apply for user who failed to apply it correctly.
So do it right the first time or you're stuck.

While adjusting the fit of the film, the glue started to smear and ruined the clarity. Needing to spray down your hands, both sides of the protector and have the solution leak into the tablet isn't worth it.

Having write down my Credit Card info onto a page and mail it to them for shipping for a 'lifetime' warranty is also not cool.

Being contacted by YesAvenue at my home phone because of a bad seller review is also not acceptable.

YESAVENUE WILL NOT STOP SENDING ME MESSAGES THROUGH AMAZON.COM AND ASKING THAT I CHANGE MY SELLER REVIEW. AMAZON.COM HAS NO IDEA HOW TO STOP THIS UNLESS I DELETE MY ACCOUNT. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY CALL AND HARASS ME FOR OVER 3 WEEKS NOW. AMAZON.COM DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO STOP IT.

The shield fits the screen perfectly, and after over a month of use it is showing no signs of wear and tear (no scratches). With the screen turned on, you will not know it's there; it causes no viewing degradation. Installation was a little tricky -- repositioning the shield once it's down is hard due to the bottom side being sticky -- but within a day or two all the bubbles from the viewing area had disappeared. I probably should have watched the installation video first, but I flunked arts and crafts in kindergarten, so if I can get it on correctly, pretty much anyone should be able to.

Great product! I am very happy using and applying this item. The trick is to really get the plastic wet to apply correctly. It really does heal scratches! After applying you will need to let it dry for a few hours. Once dry it is amazing. Really works as advertised and was easy to apply. I may have used too much of the included spray liquid but it did not hurt the shield at all. After applying it you will have small bubbles and what looks like finger prints on the inside face of the screen. These will go away after a day or two. Get this product now it really works!

Don't even try and re position it, even if you read it's all good to do on ArmorSuit's website - once anything gets on the sticky side, it's all over. It looks like complete crap. I was trying to get the Thrive I bought for my wife for Christmas all set and apply this screen protector to it beforehand.

It stretches (deforms) too easily to re position immediately after removal. Now it's garbage and I've just ordered another one - another $18 down the drain. Don't trust ArmorSuit's website.

I purchased this item, and i am pretty good at following directions. However, when the directions tell you to moisten the screen before applying the protector... moistening an elctronics screen, and then putting a film over it.. cannot be good!

Also, there is no retry. If you do not get it right the first time, you are done! If you try removing to reapply, the protector wads up, and is absolutely NO GOOD!!!

I would just as soon use a cheap, non headache version as opposed to this!!!

I received my 3 screen protector fast; however, when I open it I saw the the packages that the screen protectors where in some of them where creased :( but I used them anyway. And I don't know why it has a cutout on the upper right side????
This is the 2nd company I ordered screen protectors from and both of them sent me scratched or creased screans protectors. They are inexpensive but quality not so good
