Great Old Film
This is a great old movie, unfortunately lost to update on DVD. That is a real loss, sadly. There are some real corn scenes in the film, but overall it is entertaining and well done. Burt Reynolds could have stayed home, but that is my bias--I simply don't care for him. Tina Louise is outstandingly beautiful and does an acceptable acting job in a rather unrealistic...

bavaria
This movie was shot in bavaria. In a little village called SCHMIDMÜHLEN. I'd like to watch it, unfortunately it isn't availably in germany.

This is a great old movie, unfortunately lost to update on DVD. That is a real loss, sadly. There are some real corn scenes in the film, but overall it is entertaining and well done. Burt Reynolds could have stayed home, but that is my bias--I simply don't care for him. Tina Louise is outstandingly beautiful and does an acceptable acting job in a rather unrealistic role, but she's worth watching. This film is a must in a war movie collection and is available on VHS, though doubtfully for much longer. I have given up asking for these old films to be put on DVD. It is obvious no one who could do it reads these reviews. Another sad commentary on the times.

I enjoyed this movie,howard played the gruff commanding officer very well.A good watchable war movie
