Let me be brief.
Whats Good
The best part of the game is when you're creating your Armored Core. The combinations are almost endless. You can change arms, legs, core, head, back weapons, arm weapons, boosters, generators...ect. You have literally hundreds of choices.

What Sucks
The missions. THe missions have no depth at all. Usually, most missions include blasting a couple of ac's, or at least trying to. A lot of the time, you are outnumbered and outgunned. Youll find it almost impossible to dodge gunfire sometimes. One time I failed a mission in 30 seconds.
The sound and graphics aren't as good as they could have been, especially the music. The music is unfit for combat situations and is overall crappy. The sound effects could have been louder and more rugged.
MULTIPLAYER IS LACKING
Whats lacking is that both can only choose out of 3 AC's. The only way each player can have their own custom AC is if you buy all the parts, or both players have played arcade mode and built their own AC from scratch and save on a second memory card.

Overall i give it a three for cool customization ability.

This game perhaps more than any other captures the feel of piloting a giant well-armed robot in combat.

this is one of my favorite armored core games. One of the things i love about it is the challenge of being outnumbered and having to fight multiple units at a time. This isnt a very smart game but its a classic kill or be killed robot game. Buy this even if u just like to build things!

This mission-based mech combat game features fantastic graphics, superb music and sound effects, and good gameplay, as well. I love the ability to create your own armored mechs by combining parts purchased from the shop. The only thing that bothers me is that there are some levels that I have to try many times in a row to beat. That really sucks. However, Armored Core III itself is the deepest, most challenging, and most fun mech combat game I have ever played for Playstation 2.

Armored Core 3 is a absolutely good buy if your looking for a good Armored Core game. Basically Armored Core three is about how "The Controller" dictates every aspect of everyones lives. To combat this hell, most where sent to live under the surface of the earth. After long they grew tired of hiding and decided to build weapons of war... And of coarse AC's. In short this game has a great climatic finish in which your take down "The Controller" and take back your freedom! With this Armored Core game you can experience constant fun and a bunch of adventure with a fully designed mech
of your choice. It's a great buy and a game you will be playing for a long time!
