3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty cool game
It's not bad as far as graphics go and it's pretty fun, but some levels are so easy it gets boring rather quickly. Some levels are rather difficult and it gets somewhat addicting. 3 stars

Armored fist 3 is a fairly decent game based on the M1A2 Abrahms tank. The game's controls are very easy to understand and the inside of the tank looks awesome. The amount of detail is fairly well displayed seeing as different enemy units require differnt types of ammuunition. Also driving the tank is very important in combat because the enemy can taget the back of the tank and take you out with one shot. The requirements are fairly low, I run it on windows xp and an Nvidia geforce with 32mb and it runs with no problems at all. The graphics are so so if you can imagine the graphics from the first Delta Force you have the graphics from armored fist 3.

5.0 out of 5 stars Armored Kick, April 1, 2000

This game is great for for ne one interested in tanks. Withplenty of missions and 4 theaters of operations and tons of differnetsettings of play this game rocks. Admitted this game has a few multiy player clitches but with online updates it will soon be easily solved. In addition to multiplayer play novaworld offers voice over net where you can talk to opponets or allied friends. It also has capture the flag, death match, team death match, red on blue missions and coopertive missions.

I absolutely loved Armored Fist 2. For Nova Logic's DOS game series, that VoxelSpace engine of theirs was truly ahead of its time and they got a lot of great mileage out of it. So much so that they even came up with a Win32 version of it and ported Comanche 3 over to it as Comanche Gold. Armored Fist 2 for DOS is now ported over as Armored Fist 3 for Windows. So basically, you have AF2 for Windows. The game plays well enough, but I do have one problem with it - sound. Nova Logic has always had the market cornered on fantastic in-game sound. The audio tracks and recordings are always done so well that you really think you're working with experienced military in the tank, cockpit or by your side. Really super-believable audio, perfect, really. In Armored Fist 2 for DOS, you were actually in that tank! Not so with Armored Fist 3, however. They really botched it here. The sound effects are great, but the spoken dialogue audio tracks are shockingly horrible. Amazing for Nova Logic, who usually creates the most believable audio in the industry. In AF3, the spoken dialogue sounds like it was written and performed by some 8th grade programmer working out of his bedroom. Even shareware isn't this bad. I'm amazed Nova Logic even let this one out the door. And the Voxel Space engine for Windows - I'm glad it allowed fantastic games like Armored Fist, Delta Force and Comanche to be ported over to Windows, but Delta Force and Comanche were taken to 3D levels. Armored Fist needed to go 3D very badly, but never did. Because of terrible sound dialogues and the very outdated VoxelSpace graphics engine (very tolerable, just not 3D), 4 stars. By today's standards, it would normally get a 3 for graphics alone. I give it 4 stars instead of 3, however, because this is the last great tank battle simulation we may ever see, and it is a fantastic one regardless, especially since there's no other competing tank sims to choose from. Ask yourself this - are you sick to death of all these shooters yet? Of course you are. We ALL are. Are you listening, Nova Logic? We're shootered to death out here. We're drowning in shooters! Please save us and give us an Armored Fist 4 or Comanche 5 or F-22 Lightning 4. ANYTHING other than these endless shooters shooters shooters! We're sick to death of being force fed years worth of nothing but mindless ground grunt stuff. Not everyone wants to be a jarhead. Run shoot die, run shoot die, run shoot die. Enough already!

Nova Logic: Please - in the name of all that does not suck - bring back the military jet, tank and helicopter simulators that you did better than anyone else, which dominated the very market you once owned! Regain your former glory and give us back the military hardware combat sim!

1.0 out of 5 stars Armored Fleece 3, December 9, 1999
This review is from: Armored Fist 3 (CD-ROM)
The antiquated game engine and poor targeting functions alone should be enough to make most gamers avoid this sequel. My one star rating is due to the few fleeting seconds of enjoyment I received while firing a sabot round through an allied multiplayer opponent's tank.

5.0 out of 5 stars Make it work with Vista, August 29, 2009

I purchased this game a long time ago, on my 1st Windows 9x computer. I liked it alot. When I upgraded to a Vista system, I wanted to bring it along. But the installer croaked on Vista. I bought a new disc, same result. I downloaded the demo and the demo ran fine under Vista. So I found a place to buy this game as a download - bingo! It runs fine under Vista. I am running it under Vista 64 Ultimate, download from Steam... works great!

5.0 out of 5 stars good! good! good! GET IT NOW QUICK!!!!!, June 13, 2003

This review is from: Armored Fist 3 (CD-ROM)
This game is too cool! but i dunno why they rate it "T" for teen there is no blood-shed whatsoever, and when you run over a troop he just gets smushed into the ground.... you can alo smush buildings, jeeps, cars, tents ect. what really stinks is that the pc tanks aim for your treds, so when they hit then if you try to go forward you spin in a little circle but its really hard for the other tanks to hit you but after a while the treds get repaird automaticley.... you can also call in ground support and a million little troops and other tanks come in, also air support it sends in A-10 thunder, F-16 Ect... the terrain also rocks! you can be in the dessert (he he he) or the jungle and a million other places.... and the training sectionis really easy to follow and understand. and u get to controll a squad of tanks and u get to put them in any formation you want. u can also tell your reloader to load heat shells and kennitic energy shells and cool stuff like that. and amazingley good graphics..... SO>>> WHAT R U WAITING FOR BUY IT HURRY HURRY!!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not that great, October 4, 2002

Not the great quality I have seen from Novalogic. Check out the Delta Force line of product for some great fun and hours, and I mean literally hours of entertainment. I would like to see them do some major overhaul work on this one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Go for Armored Fist 2, November 27, 2001

I found that Armored Fist 2 has better controls. It is also better for beginners. The console in Armored Fist 3 has been hidden and it is hard to play.
