What sets Joan Wester Anderson's book apart from so many others with the word "angel" in their titles is her journalistic discipline. At the heart of each of her "In The Arms Of Angels" narratives is the diligent research and scrupulous fact checking that is Wester-Anderson's literary signature. It's little wonder that the last person to be rescued from the horrors of being buried alive at the World Trade Center on 9/11, chose this New York Times best-selling author to tell her near-death angel story. No one delivers a compelling, credible read on heavenly beings like Joan Wester Anderson. No one.

This is an amazing book. It is especially nice to send to people who are going through a tough time. It is helpful to those who are dying as it reminds them of God's great love, calms their spirit and gives them a sense of peace.
My children love to gather on our bed and listen to one of the stories. I give it my highest rating. Anything this author has written is worth keeping by my bedside.

Joan wester Anderson has outdone herself. Her writing style is easy to read and enjoyable. I rate this a must have for everyone.

This book was jam packed with incredible, true short stories, filled with Faith. Looking forward to Joan Wester Andersons next book! Very easy reading. If you don't believe in Angels, this book will restore your Faith!

I am an avid book reader. Joan has outdone herself on this one. It is a truly inspirational book and is a great read. I suggest that everyone read this one!

I just got this book in the mail yesterday, and I am so impressed. I am relieved that the author takes a "hands on" approach, adopting the tales of real life people across the country. I am choosing to read it slowly so that I can keep the inspiration of each story clear in my mind. I lost a dear relative recently, and this collection gives me hope ... I believed that the angels were there in her final days, and now I am even more sure of it.

Once again Joan Wester Anderson puts together the best of her readers angelic encounters with an easy style accessible to readers of all faiths.You will get a warm fuzzy feeling after reading this book. A joy to read and a consolation for those who believe in our guardian angels!!!

Joan's books are easy to read,and so inspirartional, filling the reader with Hope and feeling God's love for His Children by sending His angelic helpers..a MUST READ for all ages!

It is really nice to discover that there really are Angels amongst us, that they touch our lives when we need them the most. This book makes us think twice about doubting God and His Workers. I have always believed in Angels, but now even more, and for someone who spent her life asking 'why have these things happened to me?', it makes me believe even more that everything happens for a reason, even if I still don't understand mine I'd rather they hadn't happened. But this makes me have hope for the future, and that if I pray hard enough my Angels will come to my rescue.
I recommend this book to everyone!
