5.0 out of 5 stars A very touching song by Creed!
This is a very touching song that if you listened and heard the lyrics properly, it would touch in the very deepest of your hearts. A love of a father for his newborn baby. That's a bond that will never be broken between now and forever. Think about it.

2.0 out of 5 stars There is absolutely NO reason for you to get this!
There is seriously no reason for you to spend money on this single. Sure, "With Arms Wide Open" is Creed's most successful song to date, but truthfully Creed's best material is on their first album called "My Own Prison". If you don't have that album yet, get it first before even thinking about buying this single. And if you MUST have "With Arms...

There is seriously no reason for you to spend money on this single. Sure, "With Arms Wide Open" is Creed's most successful song to date, but truthfully Creed's best material is on their first album called "My Own Prison". If you don't have that album yet, get it first before even thinking about buying this single. And if you MUST have "With Arms Wide Open", get Creed's album "Human Clay", which includes both the album version (obviously) and the strings version as a hidden track. "Wash Away Those Years", the fourth track on this single, is also included on "Human Clay" for your listening pleasure (and is probably one of the best tracks on that CD, for that matter). To summarize, there are 3 reasons why you should NOT get this CD: a) it is overpriced, b) the song is not one of Creed's best and c) out of the 3 B-Sides, 2 can be found on a regular copy of "Human Clay" and the only remaining one is non-essential. If you are looking for a good Creed single with wonderful B-Sdies, I would recommend checking out Creed's "Higher" tour EP, which includes the non-album track "To Whom It May Concern", a live cover of The Doors' "Roadhouse Blues" and an alternate acoustic version of (in my opinion) the best Creed song ever: "What's This Life For".

5.0 out of 5 stars Creed's Sophmore Album is No Flop, November 5, 2000

For all those die-hard Creed fans, Human Clay was no dissapointment. And for those new to Creed's Christian Alternative sound, they got what they paid for. With songs like "Higher" and "With Arms Wide Open", Creed has made a powerful come back. This new CD single of 3 different versions of "With Arms Wide Open" gives the Creed lover a taste of 3 different ways to listen to the same song. The acoustic version offers a tear-jerking melody that expresses not only Scott Strapp's love for music, but for the love of his son. Any Creed fan should definetly add this to their collection.

Anybody who likes Creed or just With Arms Wide Open should definatley have this CD!!! It is great. The newer versions of the song give it a whole new type of acoustic. The newer versions can also be heard over and over again since it is unplayed out material, unlike the original. This still is truely one of the best songs of the millenium!!! Can't be touched....

Creed fanatic, Robert H. H.

Ever since I saw the first Creed CD on the shelf and I picked it up I've loved their music. You should really listen to the lyrics not just the music. "Higher" is a powerful song. I love all their music. Especially "higher" and " Arms wide open". Enjoy!

With Arms Wide Open, three ways -- now that rocks! Creed is a band that provokes a "feel good" spirit, on CD and live. "WAWO" has inspired many men (and women) to think hard about the responsibility of parenthood. It was also the inspiration for the With Arms Wide Open Foundation. Congrats to Scott and rock on Creed!

5.0 out of 5 stars wheatland's graduation song, November 8, 2000

At my old school, all my friends were seniors and at graduation they played the song "Arms Wide Open" and it was one of the saddest days of my life. Now everytime i hear that song it makes me cry because of all the sentimetal value it had on me. When i listen to songs i licten yo more then the beat i listen to the words and the heart and soal of the song. And i know that that song is about a kid being dorn but i has the same effect. I love creed and i think they are the best band i have heard of in a while.
