5.0 out of 5 stars A sweet captivating romance June 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Olivia needs help and the father of her baby has refused to contact her believing the baby's not his. But when his mother takes her in, just before Radley the brother of the baby's father an army doctor returns home from Afghanistan on leave, he soon comes to see that Olivia isn't the deceitful dishonest woman he tarred and feathered her to be. That was his ex-wife, and Radley soon regrets how he encouraged his brother to ignore her. As Radley helps her and the baby, he soon discovers that Olivia is the woman he's been looking for and her baby, his nephew, is the child he's always wanted. This is a sweet romance with a wonderful happily ever after. Highly recommend this read!

3.0 out of 5 stars Loved the characters July 16, 2013

I absolutely loved the characters in this book especially Radley. The story seemed to show that sometimes life happens very differently than we planned and it's not always pretty to those looking from the outside.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Family That's Meant To Be June 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Major Radley Knight can't imagine who the woman sitting in his father's chair might be, and he certainly has no idea who the infant in her arms belongs to. His expectations in coming home from Afghanistan were relaxation and peace not the wailing of a newborn baby. When his Mum, Sandra, introduces him to Olivia, his brother Cameron's college sweetheart, the pieces of the puzzle suddenly gel together. She was pregnant; it wasn't his; she's manipulating his family; she needs to go. These were Radley's assumptions, and as far as he could tell they were spot on. Up until this point, as a reader I would definitely have had to agree. However, both Radley and I could not have been more wrong. Taylor weaves a beautiful love story mixed with regret, longing, and eventually the uniting of the man, the woman, and the baby boy that were meant to be a family in every sense of the word. Take the time to read, "The Army Doctor's Baby." You'll be glad you did.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Joy To Read! June 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
With all the negative news that swirls around us on a daily basis, it's reassuring to find such a delightfully positive story to remind us that love and family is truly what matters most. I started reading this sweet tale just after I'd heard some disturbing news, and Olivia, Radley and baby George made my world good again. So much so, that I didn't stop reading until the very last page, and craved more of Taylor's work. Loved the twists at the end of the book. Just the right amount of tension to keep me turning those pages! Totally recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Captivating Novel June 10, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Helen Scott Taylor has written her best novel yet. The Army Doctor's Baby is about an Army doctor's return home on leave from the battlefields of Afghanistan to find a strange woman and her newborn child settled into his family's home. She claims that the child is his brother's, but the doctor does not believe her, and his brother denies it. When I started the story, I didn't want to stop. The story was captivating from beginning to end.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting February 9, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am really not sure where to go with this one. Was the writing good, yes, were the characters good, yes, did the story draw you in, hell yes. So, why only 3 stars...spoiler alert....do not read further if you have a need to be surprised.

because I can not believe the father of the baby walks away from the mother, who ends up with the brother and everyone is A okay with this including the mother and father of the brothers.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Sweet Love Story December 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I highly recommend this book.

Major Radley Knight was a dedicated Army doctor who was striving to be the best of the best. His wife had betrayed him and he was ready to head home from Afghanistan for a much needed break.

Olivia was living at the Knight's family home and upon Radley's return, he finds that she has just given birth to his brother's baby...who has limited interest in the child. Rad falls in love with Olivia and her son and wants to claim them as his own.

A sweet, loving book that is a must read.
