My first thoughts, when I saw that 3DO was coming out with Army Men 2 GBC, were "this game's gonna be great", and I was right.

GRAPHICS 10/10 Excellent - The backgrounds are nicely textured, cut scenes beautifully done, the explosions from grenades, mortars and the flash from the flamethrowers are great and Sarge himself never looked better. The change of scenery is nice as well. Instead of the whole thing being outside, you fight in a garden, on countertops and in a kids bedroom.

SOUND 10/10 Better than excellent - Sarge really speaks to you and so does your commander. You have music instead of that "get on your nerves" drum that's in the first one. The gunfire and explosion sounds are awesome.

CONTROLS 9/10 A little difficult at first, but you get used to them fast.

GAMEPLAY 9/10 Mostly the same objectives: wipe the Tan Army off the face of the earth, but that's not so bad. The only complaint I have is that you should have been able to carry more weapons but this really isn't of any consequence. It also has two player deathmatch and capture the flag mode.

Army men 2 is a great game. This will not be a waste of money. The graphics are great. Some of the levels are hard and some of them are easy. You will love this game.

This game is great. You have a much greater selection in weapons (rifle, autorifle, grenades, bazooka, flamethrower, and mortars). You also have vehicles, like a jeep and a tank, and, well, running down your enemies alone with those is well worth the money.

Army Men 2 takes a while to complete, though. It is great for those long, boring car trips. I reccomend this to anyone who is bored out of their minds in the car.

This is an excellent game for 12 year olds the will play it offen and the wont stop playing after one day so it won't be a wast of money. thi is an great action game.

This game is good! it rocks the controls aren't to good but you get used to them fast enough. The graphics are good better than any game boy game i've seen. The sound is good. (you get real music not that drumming from the first one.) It is a keeper! i gave it four stars cause of the controls other than that a really great game!

There are several modes to this game. In order to get better acquainted with the game, I recommend starting with multi-player mode. There, you can play with the vast arrangement of ammunition. My favorites include long-distance sniper rifles, powerful bazookas, aerosols that burn the enemy, and air strikes, which bombard the enemy with bombs. Also, you can try the guiltiest and funnest pleasure: RUNNING OVER THE ENEMY WITH VEHICLES. That alone is worth the money.

Once you are comfortable with this and the game's controls, then try single-player mode. This can get a bit tedious, however. But you get two bonus (although short) videos, and several surprises...

This game is great! I highly recomend this game. The graphics are one of the best I've seen on Game Boy Color. I like the idea of saving your weapons and life packs until you need it. I like the videos in the game. I like the different selecxtion of vehicles that you can use. This game is great!

This is the second "army men" game I've played and I must say it is superb. The gameplay is very simple, the sound is effective, the graphics exellent, and the length/difficultiy will satisfyand intrigue you. It makes me feel bad that 3do no longer exists. If you can find this game used buy it. oh yeah write down the passwords for the game uses a "password save" system. game on !

This game is great. It keeps you hooked up on playing the game. I recommend this product.

This game is awesome it ism the best game for gameboy color! When I got this awesome game I thought that the controls were wierd but you get used to them almost immediately. The graphics for this game are the best I have ever seen. The weapons selection is great(grenades, bazooka, rifle, auto-rifle, flame thrower,and mortar) The vehicles are awesome too. THis game would make a great gift.
