This review is from: Army Men: Major Malfunction (Video Game)
Army men Major malfunction is a great family friendly game. It is also very unique from previous army men games such as Sarges war, and World war, land, sea, air. While those titles focused mainly on action. This game really felt more like a 3D version of a classic NES platforming game. In the twenty-second installment of the Army men series, you are Private anderson. A green solider in the middle of a toy civil war. As anderson, you have to find out who melted sarge, then fight your way through a house ful of renagade toys to reach Major malfunction, a green solider gone mad. Some stuff in this game is brand new to the series. Such as using grappling hooks to get from shelf to shelf. And parachuting from a high spot to the floor. Graphicly this is probably the best Game in Army men series. Gone now is the tan army. now replaced by Transformer action figures, Karate barbies, and Lego DUPLO people. Don't let the fact that the tans are absent from this game scare you away. The weapons you get range from classic guns. Like the M16 rifle, and the flame thrower. to the totally new Gatlin- gun( the gun on the cover). For parents looking for a not very violent game where your kids still get to shoot something, This is the game!

The language is mostly clean with exeptions of a few slang words, such as darn and geez. There are some slight suggestive themes, but its very slight, and do you do not even see it in detail until the very end. The games gets a little challenging at times. but eventually you can beat it. it has a much better ending that sarges war by the way.

The game's cover really lies. The cover makes it look very violent. But actually its one of the least violent games in the whole series. If you read this review please rate it. Hope I was helpful.
